Does this pinata have strings to pull or stick with it?

No it doesn’t come with a string, it does have a hook so you can easily ad a string, we had one in the garage that worked fine. Then we also used an old bat as a stick it worked great! If not I’ve seen a few sticks on amazon that aren’t too expensive.

Is this an actual piñata made of paper mache and some boning for structure? Want to use outdoors for a kids party with lots of candy

Yes. I ordered this pinata last month and filled it with candy and used it at a birthday party. I reinforced the wheels with some clear tape b/c my son was driving it around before we hung it on a tree.

Does the piñata have a pull-down string?

No, there is not a string. Just an opening in the back to put the candy in. We loved it!
