TruXedo Lo Pro Soft Roll Up Truck Bed Tonneau Cover for 2019-2027 Ram 1500

I considered a lot of bed covers and read a lot of reviews before settling on this one for my new 2019 Ram 1500 (with Ram boxes). I wanted a low profile fit, but with the Ram boxes I was more mindful of a bed cover that laid on top of the bed rails impeding the boxes operation. I'm also a pretty decent DIY'er so planned on installing myself without much fuss. I installed this in about 60-90mins, and as long as you measure carefully and take your time, it is pretty smooth and the final fit in all areas is very tight. Its been about 4 months and everything still looks great, fit is strong and it rolls up and down easily with only quick hand down each Side to secure the heavy-duty Velcro. It is a bit more expensive than some others and is not going to be the highest security choice as the material could be cut if someone was that motivated to break into it, but for keeping things safe & dry in transport this does this job and looks very slick!

Looks great, easy to install, fit perfectly with Ram box

The cover was easy to install on my 2019 Ram 1500 crew cab and seems to work great. I’ve only had it on for a week or so . As far as the durability goes, I really can’t say yet. Truxedo has a good reputation so it should be fine for a long time. The only thing I would change about it is the automatic tension adjusters would be a better option than these threaded ones that are with the cover. The price seems high for the cover, but I suppose being a first year for a new body style and having the rambox option will drive the price up.

I was hesitant with such a new model year, but Truxedo was certain this model number 584901 would work with the 2020 5'7" w/ RAMBOX and sure enough, it did! Installs fairly easily with one person, has a good look, and is reasonably weatherproof. Looks great, hides contents of the bed, and the locking latch is a nice addition.

If you buy this I recommend 2 things. 1) someone to help you speed things up, 2) some kind of knife to cut seals, 3) figure out a way to keep it clean properly. Some others seem to have installed this very easily and quickly but it took me 3hrs of fine tuning because of one thing. VERY tight tolerances. Not sure if its just an issue with the short bed rambox version but the rails are about 5mm too long. Dor reference I have a 2019 1500 rebel crew cab with the 5.5ft short bed.. The bed door just would not shut because. The thick rubber seals on each end extend the length of the rail, worsening the issue. After a long time unscrewing and rescrewing the rails to push them as far back as possible towards the cabin I gave up and just cut the seals to give me the 5mm I needed. It is possible to cute them and keep things watertight. Other gripes are the metal on the main bulkhead piece came pretty scratched up and the additional rubber seals they provide are very weak glue so they fall off easy leaving big gaps for water to come in. See pics for these 2 issues. Also the faux leather top gets filthy quick and is very hard to wash out. I'll be contacting truxedo about all this, super frustrating, but once it's installed it seems a pretty decent tonneau. Added bonuses are its easy to wipe off dust and to get into the bed you first have to unlock the bed door so it does have some minimal security.

I have a 2025 ram rebel with ram boxes and the track system, this product save for 2024 models but it works just fine on my 2025 . Easy to install, easily rolls back and locks into place. Haven’t noticed any leakage, but I should’ve checked this morning before I wrote this review because we had a really hard rain

I had been shopping around for a while. I put this through the test for sure, Snow, freezing temps, rain, hail and some heavy rainstorms. To my surprise still going strong, no leaks and working as intended. Happily surprise by how water tight this is will very little effort to secure the Velcro's sides.

The directions could be a lot easier with clear photos and steps to install

My truck is a Ram1500, new style, Year 2020, equipped with Rambox, bed 5.7feet (67in) This kit is using the exiting tray on my truck bed. No hole, nothing to remove. You just have to: 1) Slide the backet inside the tray 2) Screw the 6 plates at the specific distance given 3) Screw the top rail (velcro type) on the 6 plates 4) Clip the front cover at the head and unroll the cover to the end. Total: 30min-45min from unpack, read instruction, and completed installation.
