I noticed there were many complaints of leaking from every propane pigtail hose brand sold on Amazon. Also many hoses returned due to non compatible end fittings. There are subtle differences and you must know exactly what you require for your particular set up. I’m knowledgeable about my gas system but ran into a frustrating situation and hope my experience might help others. I ordered a replacement (same Camco brand) to replace a hose that was last purchased from Amazon over 8 years ago. It was always covered from sun exposure yet finally developed cracks in the rubber hose section. The new part immediately leaked from inside the large green OBD valve knob ( tank connection) confirmed with soapy water solution. Not from the crimps, not from the regulator side connection. After doing research and comparing to another tank I had available, I discovered the rubber seal inside the tank valve had been crushed over the years enough to no longer establish a good seal with the brass tip of the new hose assembly. I swapped tanks and could immediately tell the difference while tightening the large green hand connector. Nice and firm good rubber seal resistance! There is much discussion as to if the rubber seal is replaceable, but most recommended either replacing the entire tank or taking tank to qualified service provider to have the valve replaced.

Don't buy this unless you are only using it indoors. The plastic screw on connector is made from a biodegradable plastic. After about 2 months outside it falls apart and propane blows out. Very dangerous I would not purchase for a grill or RV.

Use for my camper propane. My last one was leaking but this one is solid. So far so good.

Worked as advertised

Purchased in April and haven't even gone camping yet, but it's already failed. The green plastic ACME connector that screws onto the propane tank cracked and split completely in half after only a couple months of outdoor storage. It was hand-tightened properly and was not overtightened. Very disappointed with the durability.
