Columbia Men's Newton Ridge Plus Ii Suede Waterproof Hiking Shoe

After several hiking routes through the mountains, my boots look as if they had not been used. After a good cleaning at the end and removing all the mud, they look like new. They are very comfortable, they look good, they seem to be very sturdy, they have excellent grip in mud, gravel and loose dirt, and they are also waterproof. What more can I ask for? The only thing I could point out is that they are not the lightest on the market, but nothing that is uncomfortable. I recommend them.

I use these boots for work. I'm a mechanic and walking around on concrete floors working on cars I needed something durable but not to heavy. I dislike steel toe boots so having these was a game changer. They fit absolutely perfect and so comfortable. I can move at an extreme fast pace and drive stick shift with ease like if they were a sneaker. The colors are great to choose from I have mine matching my uniform so I look professional. I have about these at work and other employees have now bought some as well. They are awesome.must have.

Purchased in late April 2020 and writing this in early August 2020. These boots are great, super comfortable and have held up reasonably well given their usage. I work in landscaping on a golf course community. These boots have endured all ranges of motion as I crouch, crawl, shovel, walk spraying herbicide, shift manual transmission vehicles among other things. They have put up with mud, mulch, sand, stone, grass clippings, brush, asphalt inches of rain and high temperatures. They look very ugly now as you can see from the photos. They are still pretty water resistant and I never get home with sore feet! Definitely recommend for equal or lesser boot abusive jobs.

Water just beads off. Overall very satisfied with the fit, feel, and looks.

So far so good! Boots are very comfortable and true to size. I work as a garbage man so I’m on my feet walking in different weather conditions everyday. I don’t know if I would call these waterproof more like water resistant but I will do a follow up after a few months if they hold up and get a chance to test out the “waterproof-ness” My only negative is I wish they were available as a composite toe but I’m not going to knock off a star for that. The color combo (Shark/black) is amazing and I’m thinking of ordering these as an everyday shoe as well.

These boots are the best. a week ago we were hiking and i slipped on some wet moss in my old boots. Went back to the same spot and the boots gripped well no sliping. Columbia are the best hiking boots I have used. bEtter that some of the other brands as well. Took my new boots on a nine mile hike on moderate to advanced trails. they grip great. My weight is 225lbs I was standing on a rock and puit my weight on one shoe and eas at an 90 degree angel and they did not slip. Colombia has the best hiking shoes.

I wear a large size in wide or extra wide depending on manufacturer These were only available in wide and they were not wide enough for me. They seemed very well made and I think I would have been happy with them.
