Excellent bamboo flatware organizer. Very nice quality. A+++
The Lipper International Bamboo Deep Flatware Organizer was a nice purchase for me. The construction is very good. The bamboo is very smooth. It is very useful in the drawer to store utensils, or you can use it to put things. It is very durable and sturdy. It measures 11 3/4" x 2 1/2" x 17 1/2". It is constructed of ecologically responsible bamboo for natural look and feel. It features built-in dividers to sort and organize place setting pieces. I use one of these to put by flatware utensils, and it works great. It is easy to clean. I just wipe with a damp cloth with mild soap, and it stays very clean. It is great for knives, forks and spoons. Or, you can use it for small items like packets of condiments or to store your stationery items like pens and markers and scissors and things. It is also great for the hobbies, for your home office, and for your workshop. I definitely recommend this bamboo deep flatware organizer. The construction is excellent. It is a high quality. The feel of the material surface is smooth and shiny which is nice.

A great item at a great price
with a drawer that is 2.5 inches deep, it only makes sense to get a flatware organizer that uses all of the vertical space in the drawer. This does that. The compartments are a bit thin...wider than one stack of forks or spoons, but not wide enough for two. I had to swallow my OCD and just DUMP the forks and spoons into the slots (I couldn't make neat piles), and this worked fine. I have LOTS of flatware, as we are a family of 7, and it all fits great. There is about an inch on one side of the organizer that I used for smaller serving spoons and forks. There is about an inch and a half in the back, which I used for larger serving spoons. The bamboo works great in the light wood tone inside the drawer...much more attractive than plastic. I'm pleased. When I got the new kitchen, I bought bamboo drawer organizers at a local organization store and per drawer, paid WAY more than I spent to organize my silverware drawer. A great value for a nearly perfect product (I looked high and low for one that would completely fill my drawer without the gaps on the side and back, but to no avail!).

Lovely, though flawed
Amazon tells me that I got this April 7, 2012 I picked this tray for two reasons: because I like the bamboo and because I have a LOT of flatware, and it's capacious. I am not disappointed by those two things. I am disappointed because it's not made very well. I am regluing it today, or trying to, which leads me to visit Amazon and write a review. Pros: 1. I do like the bamboo, quite a bit. It makes me happy 2. I have a space-crunched kitchen, and this fits well in the top drawer 3. I think I have service for 16 (two 8-person sets), plus some extra pieces like iced tea spoon, and this holds it all. Maybe I have service for 20, even, come to think of it. Cons: 1. Everything is a little bit warped. I'm pretty sure it was when I got it, but it certainly is now. This make the regluing effort a bit questionable. 2. What led me to reglue is that table knives started sliding underneath, out of their official bin. (This did, of course, over time, lead to increased wedging. FWIW, I have for years now just slid the knives back out and popped the dividers back into place, but the knives want what the knives want, and they do it again. Today, I had enough silverware in the dishwasher that I decided it was a good day to try to reglue. 3. The back piece appears to be a veneer, so who knows what I'm gluing to, anyway. 4. Whether over the course of time or initially shoddy construction, the dividers will not meet flush with the base. I was initially trying to glue and clamp and gave that up. I did try that for a few hours, and then decided to treat it more like caulking with my Elmer's: I am trying to make a barrier that will prevent the knives from slipping underneath again and continually wedging things up. Four stars because I still love the wood of this, the depth, and that it fits so well in my drawer. As I was hoping, it's a good use of the space that I have, and it's classy, even with all its flaws. FWIW, I have gotten over the need to have one specific item in each compartment. In the longest bin on the left, I have serving spoons, pushed towards the top, and iced tea spoons, pushed towards the bottom. In the next compartment, I have the knives, which was probably the worst choice for them, giving the wedging behavior, and I might rearrange when I refill the drawer. Next, I have forks, the real dinner forks. On the far right, I have the regular spoons at the top of the bin and the teaspoons at the bottom of the bin. I have almost no use for desert forks, so I put those across the top, in the smaller bin that goes sideways. And I can't easily reach the very top bin, so very seldom used things go there. I gather my intermingling of different types of silverware is a disappointment to some readers, but it really works well for me. Again, I am space crunched, and this is the optimal solution. I will probably swap the knives and the spoons when I refill the drawer, since this will give the knives less opportunity to escape. I think.

Perfect
Fits perfect in my drawer with a bit of room left over. I'm thinking of buying one of the single trays to put next to it for extra items (Also because the bottoms of the drawers in my apartment aren't the most appealing, so I would like to get everything off the bottoms). My only gripe is that there is an extra slot. I'm used to my parents' flatware tray that has five slots, one for knives, one for big spoons, one for little spoons, one for big forks, one for little forks. So having four confused me for a bit; one for knives, one for spoons, one for forks and one for.............I was stumped. But, not to worry, I've figured it out. I acquired some serving size spoons from a family friend who gave me her old utensils when I moved, which soon found a home in the fourth, mystery slot. I love the color, not too light while still looking like bamboo, and the quality is great and strong.

Great Drawer Organization, Great Price
This is a great organizer for the money. It has a great High-Class look in the drawer and really makes things come together in the kitchen. The organizer seems well-made and Rugged. There are a few flaws in the fit of the dividers, but with some slight maneuvering the pieces snapped into their correct places. It does ship fully assembled so I attribute the problems with impacts during shipping, nothing the seller could control. Great product, Great price, would be happy to give this as a gift or purchase another for my home. May have other uses as well as a household organizer other than for silverware.

good purchase!
UPDATE: I HAVE ONLY HAD THIS ABOUT 6 WEEKS AND I NOTICED TODAY THAT THE DIVIDERS ARE VERY BOWED. THEY WERE NOT LIKE THIS WHEN I FIRST GOT IT. IT HAS HAD VERY LIGHT USE AND IS ALREADY FALLING APART! I have had this for about a month and I love it. It is well made and was cheap! I think I paid under $10 for it. This is one of those little things in life. It's small and no one but myself will really see it as it sits in a drawer, but still I love it.
