Swanson Turkey Rhubarb - Herbal Supplement for Digestive Health - (100 Capsules, 500mg Each)

Excellent herb for moving one's bowels in a gentle manner

Swanson is the only company which makes pure Turkey Rhubarb and Amazon seems to be the only company which sells it. I've found Turkey Rhubarb IN other products, usually last on the list. But this is the only brand that gives you 500 mg with nothing else. This is my third or fourth order. I order 6 bottles at a time, since the shipping is the same on one bottle as it is on six. Now, the very-big, gigantic question?!! What IS Turkey Rhubarb and WHAT does it DO? Well...a friend of mine who is a psychiatric nurse in a rehab told me about it. That's probably not the full answer to the question. It's a great (YES, GREAT)natural laxative! It works better than any other natural product I've found on the market. So, now everyone knows why Turkey Rhubarb is a staple in my medicine cabinet.

The quality is there for this one. I can hardly feel most supplements that I take, and the effects can be very subtle, if any. This TR is powerful, and I can feel it working. It’s not overpowering, but it’s great to actually feel some effect from it.

I got the turkey rhubarb because someone said it would help cleanse my colon with natural herbs and I didn't want to spend a fortune on those colon cleansers, I mean this has been something floating around Asia for centuries..right? I tried it, it works and depending on how much you take and with what other herbs you are already taking in your regime, it can work VERY well, maybe almost too well. The only reason it only got 4 stars is because when I first took it, it felt like I had the stomach flu before it did what it needed to do and I didn't expect such harsh results from an herb but that might just be my own fault for taking it with all my other supplements.

I was skeptical at first, but I gave it a try and I'm so glad I did! I've been using Swamson for a month and I feel so much better. I used to have really bad constipation and this really helped. They are also affordable and I love that they are natural.

i'm a female in my mid-30's with no major health issues. i eat a relatively healthy diet the majority of the time, but occasionally suffer from constipation. i tried this product to find a cheaper substitute to healthforce nutritionals' intestinal movement formula. while that product was great, the price ( approx $24/bottle ahd i had to take 15 pills/day to get results) was not. swanson's turkey rhubarb produces results with 4-6 capsules and is an effective, budget-friendly alternative. for those of you deciding between this and dr. christopher's lower bowel formula, i'd recommend swanson's since dr. christopher's left me bloated and gassy. but then again, that is me and apparently others did not have that problem.

I use to order my Turkey Rhubarb from a company in Utah which has gone out of business. Their TR was just he best. Powerful but gentile. and if you took it at night, it was working in the morning. This Swanson product, while it works, is more harsh on my tummy and it is unpredictable. One cap seems to be less than needed, while 2 caps (at the same time) is too much, giving me cramps. having said this, I take one in the morning and one in the evening. I think I'll use up the bottle and try to find a brand that works better for me. Arrived on time. Well packaged.

These pills are effective at promoting regularity. I have read elsewhere that these pills should be taken on an empty stomach, otherwise they don’t do much.
