I actually bought the smaller blue bottle originally. It had such a positive effect on me that I wanted a larger bottle and the only one available was this extra strength so I went with this one. I honestly haven't noticed any real difference between the regular and the extra. I've been using the extra longer (I'm on my second bottle) and its been fantastic.A few years ago I had gotten in an accident. I needed surgery on my leg, and that combined with the stress, had a very negative effect on my hair. I've always had very fine, thin hair. And the hair I was brushing out daily was becoming alarming. I started to notice my hairline getting even thinner and I knew I had to do something about this. I found this product by chance on Amazon and decided to try it out. It has helped with more than just hair loss.I used to suffer from dandruff and just general build up on my scalp. It would sometimes even be painful and leave welts. My hair would be greasy and unclean looking at the end of the day, despite showering in the morning.With this shampoo, my scalp has healed. My skin feels normal and there is no longer any build up of any kind. My hair stays cleaner longer, well into the next day. And I can tell my hair has gotten thicker and I no longer pull out huge clumps of hair out of my brush.I also use a scalp massager that I found also Amazon. Another person rating this shampoo suggested it, and it really helps add to the lather and help you leave it in longer. (the bottle says about 2 minutes)I am amazed at what this has done for my quality of life. My hair feels light and clean, it looks great and it feels great. I don't think I will ever buy any other kind of shampoo. I think I have found my lifelong shampoo of choice.If you are unsure if you want to try this, maybe try the blue kind first. I had no issues with that and the extra works fantastically. I would say that I have somewhat sensitive skin, and this has given me no issues whatsoever.

Great shampoo, I will buy it again. I’ve been using it for about a month now and I definitely notice that my hair looks and feels healthier now after using it. It’s helped strengthen my hair as well, I don’t notice any loose hairs in the shower or in my hats I wear like I did prior to using it. It’s the perfect shampoo to buy if you’re looking to just maintain the hair you currently have long term. I haven’t noticed my hair looking any fuller from it though so I wouldn’t buy it if you’re expecting or wanting to see hair growth.

I been using this for a couple months now and you have to be patient like any other similar product they are not mirical workers but after my first bottle the amount of hair on my pillow had gone down to almost none..... I still didn't notice a difference in regrowth but I stuck to it and a couple bottles later I've now seen my light spots become more full.... I will update if it gets better over time but for what it is I think it's doing a great job... Give it a try but don't expect one day to the other results.... You have to put your part as well... The way I did it was I applied it and worked it into my hair and I let it sit while I scrubed the rest of my body and when I was in the rinsing process I then rinsed my head at the very end allowing the product to sit in my hair for as long as possible..... I truly feel that was what helped it do its job better than just scrubbing for a couple seconds then rinsing it off.I recommend to anyone experiencing hair loss.Sorry I didn't take any before and after pictures guess you'll have to take my word for it.FYI I need to be prepared to make this your new shampoo from now on I wouldn't recommend using it fora but then leaving it for something else once results have been achieved like any other hairloss product you need to stick to it... We have to keep in mind that we are constantly battling our own genetics and if we stop the battle we'll you know what's happens next.

I've been using this shampoo for close to a year. Seems to be working as fairly well (although it's no miracle cure for me). However, the second bottle I got is super watery! It almost seems like the shampoo is breaking down into water as it sits in the bottle in my shower. I noticed another reviewer mentioned this change in consistency. I feel like I have to use a huge handful of the shampoo now to feel like I'm actually cleaning my hair. I wonder if stretching (diluting) the product with water is a cost-cutting move by the manufacturer (a.k.a. shrinflation for the consumer). Not good.
