My grandson assembled it for me and said it was easy to assemble. This backless counter chair is beautiful from its black iron frame to this cushy seat in a beautiful gray black leather like cover - very durable and easy to wipe clean for spills. Ordered it for my use during my holidays with family, will seriously consider ordering a couple or more for my home’s kitchen island!!

These are comfy, size inclusive, sturdy, easy to assemble, etc. I really can’t say enough positive things about these barstools - they are so comfortable for larger body people to sit on for more than 15 minutes. The foam is thick, the leather is beautiful - as long as you don’t need back support these are the BEST option.

We bought two stools in July and one the end of November, 2019 to replace some great old tractor seat stools. The new ones are comfortable, sturdy and slide easily on hard floor. Tightened screws on the two older ones recently but all three only took a few minutes to build with no assembly problems. I taped the Allen wrench that came with the kit to the bottom of one of the stools. The stools are well padded and longer than a tractor seat so I have to hitch my hip up and scoot over to seat myself but have had no complaints from others. I recommend these.

I liked this stool so much that I ordered a second one later. It is made out of powder coated steel, and the seat material is sturdy and attractive. Unfortunately there was an issue with one of the stools I purchased, and after contacting the company I received immediate friendly responses and solutions. Nathan James ended up flat out replacing the stool. No hassles, no hoops to jump through.Occasionally problems happen. As a long-time business owner, I know this. but I am also used to crappy service. Not only are the products I have purchased from NJ top notch, but they are backed by friendly people who want you to be happy with your purchase. Keep in mind that I did not get any discounts for writing this; I did not get any free merchandise. I am not associated with NJ. In fact, I really have no idea who they are other than that I bought a few stools and table off of Amazon that seem to be made by them. But I *do* know quality service. I can most highly recommend this stool (and also the matching table).

Had these stools since June just to make sure and they're just as comfortable as they are beautiful. Easy to clean faux leather and beautiful material it's a brownish toned grey if you were wondering. When I first received the stools I had one very unbalanced wobbly stool and another stool that wouldn't allow a screw to drill in. So I contacted Nathan James as their instructions said to if there was any problems and they responded quickly. I emailed with Claire sent her pictures and a video of the problem I had with the stools and she arranged 2 stools to be shipped right away. I've bought a lot of furniture since we moved into our new townhome and this was the best customer service! 2 stools were shipped and they even improved how the cushions were secured already different from the 4 stools I ordered. I am very impressed with Nathan James products and their customer service! I intended to recommend and purchase other projects from this company!!

They were easy to put together, as I put them both together in about an hour. They are well made and sturdy! The cushions are thick and comfy, and the stainless steel looks good with our kitchen! Very happy with these stools!

After reading reviews we ordered these.They are super easy to assemble. Probably 10-15 min per stool, majority of time spent unwrapping the paper protecting layer.The only potential flaw I see with these is that the 4 screws holding the seat into the frame are short and I was doubtful they will hold but time will tell. It seems a 1/4” longer screw would have sufficed and solved this problem. As they are only 1/4” of the screw actually goes into the stool seat underside.Otherwise the pluses of these stools are width, firmness, wipeability and low profile.For reference our island is 76” long and 3 stools fit perfect. 4 would have been too tight for everyday use.

Stools are perfect! As described, comes with the instructions, very easy to assemble, one of them got a tiny issue and I can say costumer service is amazing, they give us a solution right away, I am very happy with the service. I recommend!

Overall it was good.Unfortunately one of the chairs was badly packed and 2 screws were missing. Also, there were marks and chip on the chair’s cushion top and it really looked like the chair is already used before this since there were screw holes on the bottom of the cushion. Really disappointed in this.

Stools are light, comfy and durable. Easy to clean. Easy to set up! Plus looks so modern. Love them

Love these stools! No problem assembling. Great quality. They are super stylish with the brass base and look great at our kitchen island. Have had them a few months now and I find them comfortable and easy to keep clean.
