Very sturdy. Nice finish. Solid installation. Rings slip down over mounting plate and turn to secure tightly against wall.

I have this installed by my shower and it really helps me with climbing into the tub. I had the maintenance service install it since that is beyond my capabilities. The finish is good and my hands don't slip. Good value also.

Summary: Adding a few grab bars to dad's shower. I used a lot of products for this project, so including all related products in this review.Recommendation:1) When mounting grab bars, it's always easier if you can find the stud to attach to. In this vertical install, I decided to use a stud and Wing-Its anchors; partially because I wasn't sure I could hit both, and didn't want to put two fasteners vertically (on either the right or left only), but that would also position the bar in the shower a little too far in (towards the shower control).2) The WingIts requires a 3/4" hole through the mounting material. For tile, this can be especially challenging. I used the SHDIATOOL diamond 3/4" bit, with the DRILLAX adapter to get through the tile, and then used the 3/4" BOSCH bit to finish through the dry wall. Also used the BOSCH bits for the other small hole. We install this in my dad’s house! He absolutely loves it and said it works great! Great quality and very sturdy!

The 48 inch Moen grab bar installation was relatively easy, except for the screws. The stainless steel screws were much too soft when using a too-tight 1/8 inch pilot hole, and the Philips heads were easily destroyed. After needing to unscrew two screws with pliers, drilling 9/64 inch pilot holes, and buying replacement screws, all went together nicely. The bar is very sturdy and has a textured surface, but is nearly smooth. It will work well as a towel bar for my installation.

Due to a stroke, my wife has difficulty getting in and out of bed. I mounted this on the wall nearest her side of the bed and it has made things much easier for her.There were no studs at the only location I could mount the grab bar, so I had to mount it with expanding anchors. To test the strength of the mounting, I put my full weight on the bar and lifted myself off the floor. It is the best and strongest grab bar I have in the house! Definitely a 5-star product and a brand I have come to know and trust!

Nice product. The mounting screws need to be thrown away and grabber screws used. The nickel plated screws that come with the handicap rail used for mounting to the wall strip-out when you try to screw into the wall. Other than that, it is a nice product.

I found the variety of holes and slots available in the mounting flanges allowed me to engage with the target stud. Had there only been holes alone, this would have complicated things for me. Very sturdy bar with a pleasing finish.

We found ourselves needing a railing for the bathroom earlier than we'd hoped. I'd seen ones like this before but didn't know which to pick. This one had good reviews and was Moen which I think is a good name.It was easy to install (6 screws), and feels really secure. (You can't second guess security when you're trusting it with your weight.) The finish is (obviously) different than the other fixtures in the bathroom, but the look quickly becomes unobtrusive and just seems to fit in quite suitably. Would recommend.

I did market search for Moen Grab Bar. This is very good choice what Amazon recommended. I strongly suggest to buy this product for senior safety at home.
