These shoes fit perfectly. Wide enough, long enough, but not too wide and not too long. I have been having some balance issues in shoes without enough substance to keep me rooted.These are perfect. I've actually worn them in my apartment all afternoon when usually my shoes are the first thing that come off when I come in the door. (Bra comes off second.)And, instead of the laces I can never keep tied, velcro on the straps.My little niece described her first pair of shoes with velcro straps as her "slap over lightly shoes" and slap over lightly shoes are the bomb.

Very happy with, purchased for senior citizen who was having difficulties with regular shoes. These shoes provide both good ankle support and arch support, as well as being very comfortable.

What I dont like is why only 5 stars? Open when arrived. Put them on and oh so comfortable. To anyone who reads these reviews, get these shoes. Dont hesitate. Literally arrive on Saturday and I ordered same pair Monday morning.

I've been buying these for years, and I'm spoiled to them. I wear them for housecleaning, yard, farm and garden work, and hate to wear any other shoe for this type of work. No other shoe (for me) has the full foot support I need, the sturdiness, and the comfort they give. I would be very disappointed if these were ever discontinued.

I needed a good support walking shoe with a high box toe because of twisted arthritis toes and these are just GREAT. I needed the toe width also, but I can pull in the velcro straps at my ankle to support my narrow, flat feet. Best shoe for me for years!! And reasonable price. Not worried about the LOOKS, but comfort. I am 81 and ruined my feet by wearing high heels with narrow pointed toes, wanting to be 'stylish' in my younger days.

I am sure the shoes would fit most people, but my feet are injured. My orthotics do not work with these shoes, and the toe box is too roomy. That would be good for other people with toe problems. The shoe looks like it is made well and would feel comfortable for most people. Also, the price is good.

sturdy shoe goes with most everyday clothes. straps a little long therefore stick out to the side. Great shoe for a person with joints issues. I put a arch support inside which made them more comfortable.

Update: I had to replace these shoes in Dec. and now again in Feb. A hole by the big toe first time (right shoe) and a rip along the seam also by big toe, also right shoe. Very disappointed. I won't be buying them again. I have been trying to find a pair of shoes that I can wear at work that don't make my feet hurt....and am so happy I decided to try these ones. I walk on a lot of uneven concrete and tile floors and the memory foam insoles are great. My feet are not in pain at the end of the day like they were before or even during my shift. I love the velcro straps and the soles are definitely non slip which I need because I also walk on a lot of wet floors. I will buy these again!

Fit was perfect. I were quite large orthotics, so I ordered the wide, regular size. The insoles were lovely, however all insoles must be taken out of my footwear. The insoles came out easily as they are not glued in. They felt so comfortable the first time I wore them. I think they look great.I read a review that complimented everything about the shoe but had one complaint. The same complaint was made by others also. The complaint was about the front bottom sole came loose and had to be glued. Funny, I purchased the same looking shoe several years ago, made by a completely different company and had the same problem. I loved them too and am still wearing them, as my gardening shoes. Nothing that a little glue won't fix.I love these shoes so much, I am ordering another pair.Gwen

Well made, easy to put on. Purchased item for spouse who is in assisted living that was having difficulty lacing regular shoes. These have solved the problem and she is able to put on the shoes and secure them correctly with the velcro straps. Only item of note is colour options would be an added bonus, i.e. tan or bone coloured. Other than that very pleased with the product.

Liked everything Velcro strapping for easy off and on. Wide enough to insert a special orthotic support for my foot condition. They are light and appear to be well made and of good qualiy materials. I like them so much I just bought a second pair.

I've had a pair of these shoes since 2012 and they finally wore out. What a surprise to find they were still available! For seniors like me with wonky fingers the closure is very welcome. I hope these shoes are still available when my new ones wear out, probably around 2029.
