Yardistry 12 x 14 Meridian Cedar Gazebo Pavilion for Patios, Decks, Garden, Backyard, Durable, Aluminum Roof

Ordered this Gazebo to replace a 10x10 aluminum frame and canopy gazebo from Lowes (early wet snowfall took care of that one because the canopy was still up). - First observation - this is not really 10x10 - outside post to post it is 9' 1 7/8". I should have looked at the specs on the manufacturers website and if I did - I would have gone with the 12x12 (which in reality post-to post is 11' 2"). After getting over that smaller footprint shock, I couldn't be more pleased. - Second observation - heavy! Came on a pallet with 3 separate boxes - weighs over 500lbs. UPS delivery guy was kind enough to power dolly it into my back yard near the site of assembly - Third observation - every piece was there! All the hardware and all the wooden parts - no missing items! - Fourth observation - clear instructions and a very helpful online video which I consulted on multiple occasions - Fifth observation - admittedly I am a perfectionist but plan on putting some quality time in on this project. I did this over multiple days but I probably have close to 20 hours in. Not complaining - labor of love and everything from the milling/pre-drilling of the lumber to the hardware fit with exacting specifications - hard to believe when completed that this thing came in a box - well done Yardistry. (Note the final roofing assembly is tricky but with the help of a friend who is a builder - figured out it was easier to mount the two opposing sections directly across from each other rather than the suggestion of the side-by-side sections. In this way they were somewhat self supporting and allowed for fewer people - still need the one in the center supporting the sections until lagged and tightened) Lastly, I didn't care for the natural cedar finish - too light. I stained the Gazebo with a water-based stain per the manufacturer's recommendation (Valspar Canyon Brown - see pics). This took additional time (not counting this in the assembly time mentioned above) and I did each piece of the roof assembly before assembling. Gazebo is sitting on a patio that has pavers and due to the sheer weight of the gazebo, I have not attached the columns to the pavers. I don't see this thing moving any time soon. I am happy to be done with the construction and am looking forward to enjoying the shade it provides.

Bought for dealing with central NY winters. High wind and snow load rating. Wood is solid and precision cut. Mostly predrilled. Two 50 year olds assembled frame and roof pieces in two days. Three people put the roof pieces on top day three. Good assembly instructions. Comes with several extra screws/washers/bolts. Very sturdy when completed even before bolting to concrete patio. The factory stain is very thin so plan on staining or applying polyurethane within a few months of completion. No complaints so far.

Delivery was perfect, 3 boxes were on a pallet and set down in my driveway. I took them off the pallet and moved them into my garage with one other person. It wasn't easy but it wasn't exactly hard to put together. The structure is really solid and we did most of it with two people but putting the roof on was definitely a 3+ person job. Instructions were good, but READ AHEAD to avoid some of the issues I had with having to figure things out later (all around the roof).

This was great quality, heavy duty gazebo. Looks very nice in my yard and adds a great focal point design wise. It was very light yellow so had to stain it with behr tug boat. Better if you do it before you put it up. We hired a guy off thumbtack to install it. Get a professional, he did it by himself in under a day. Worth every penny!! There is a serious quality control issue with yardistry gazebo though. The plastic adhesives on the metal roof left glue residue marks all over it. Every single pane. There's no way to clean remove this properly. I contacted yardistry and they offered no compensation for their poor quality. It's a serious issue they seem to be ignoring.

This gazebo is absolutely gorgeous! It was a great buy! I am glad I read many reviews before we purchased so we were prepared for the assembly. It took 2 very capable strong men to put it together. More hands would have made it easier. It is definitely a 6-8 hour build with 2. Inventory was perfect and there were no issues with the design. This is a quality product! Shipping was fantastic! I got a call within a week from the trucking company and it was delivered!

This gazebo looks great and is very sturdy. The assembly instructions were easy to follow. Except for the roof, I put it together by myself. The roof required 4 peoplel. My only complaint is that I can feel heat radiating down from the roof when the sun is overhead, but I am installing a ceiling and fan to fix this issue.

This is a very good product, but it does require more people for portions of the assembly. We used four people for putting up the poles and the 4 strong people on ladders for putting the roof pieces on. All of the other assembly can be completed by a single person. Instructions and all materials were in the package and clearly labeled.

When it arrives it is in a few heavy boxes that if you can have help to move around. There is a lot of pieces but very easy to follow directions. You definitely need a few friends to help with assembly and lifting. Overall great product!

Here’s the thing. End result is awesome. Process to get there a little frustrating. Go very very slow and read each step extremely carefully. You need 4 people for the roof and use a 2x4 to help hold up the 1st panel. Many boards were warped when putting together and didn’t fit flush and I had no idea if it would fit but in the end despite the warping poor cuts it did. So many pieces u could not get straight or flush. Ensure u have the posts perfectly square and level. Do not shortcut that step no matter what. I would read all reviews and tips available before and during construction. The last metal trim pieces for the roof ensure u leave 1 inch gaps or u can’t slide the flushings on. This was a great tip. Don’t rush. I wouldn’t hesitate to buy just take your time. End result is awesome. Key is watching all videos and tips. End of the day it worked out.

Absolutely wonderful. Only drawback was time consuming process of peeling the protective plastic off the metal proof panels.

The Gazebo is sturdy and well designed except for the ridge cap. It is the last piece that you will assemble and I am surprised at the poor design and thought put into an otherwise great product. The ridge cap does not come together well, has unseemly ends, sharp and dangerous. It also does not stay in place and slips downwards on windy days. Overall a great product but the Ridge cap leaves a lot to be desired. Hopefully my guests don't end up slicing their hands open.

This fits perfectly on our south facing deck which gets way too much sun. I never expected such a great quality gazebo, looks fantastic. I do suggest locating a professional to install the product to do it justice, as for us they bolted the gazebo into the deck and sealed it properly, something I would never think to do. Great gazebo, I highly recommend considering if you need something for a tight space.
