Lost 2 fish straight off the bat because the barb is too small and the fish shook off. I replaced the hook and now it works great. The line has a small spring in it which prevents the fish from pulling and breaking the line. After changing the hook, caught a tuna and mackerel. Have only used for a day so cannot comment on the longevity of product but should be ok.

Thought deal was too good to be true and it was. One plug had the bottom piece pop off before ever even using it. All 6 had glue caked on the outside and look like a 6 year old put them together. Wood shavings fall off all over the place. I ended up just taking the plug off and using the leader and hook set up for my other lures to save me time rigging. Terrible item.

Good price for 6 cedar plugs, but hooks that were supplied were poor quality. The eye of the hook was punched, not forged. The eye of the hook was also rough....I would expect to lose any good size fish with the rough edges. I would recommend buying these unrigged & rig yourself, if you plan on catching more than a 5 lb. fish....
