58784 Shingle Ridge Vent, 11-1/4", Black

This is a great working product. Works like a charm. The home depot sells something similar, 4 feet panels. But it can't beat this 20 foot roll. Less seems to worry about. Installation is easy, just like on the you tube video. You don't have to be an expert, and I am not. If you have 2 left hands but can manage to hold a hammer and a nail - You got it made. Just don't fall of the roof.This vent allows hot air to escape your unconditioned adache, you can lower your temp by perhaps 50 degrees. I don't have a good thermometer, but after installing my adache temp was about 7-10 degrees above the outside. Not bad at all. I recommend this product with a lifetime warranty.

this products is very easy to work with installed in a matter of 1 hour from start to finish and is working great to vent the attic..I did modifty it a little so it work even better venting... You can never over vent your home most homes are under vented even if they are new....Lee

I am not a contractor, just a home owner, but it appears to be a good product. My son tells me it is wider than most stuff availible for ridge caps, but if you use 3 tab it works OK. We just put it up a day ago, and haven't put the shingles over it yet, but I have noticed it is bulging up where the nails are. When it was first nailed down it laid smooth. Hopefully it will smooth out when it gets a little more sun.

Product does exactly as advertised very easy to install conforms to match the pitch on your roof very well and is rigid enough that the ridge cap shingles fit the roof alot better than the previous type of ridge vent I had I am very pleased with it also very pleased with the shipping time from the seller Rons Hardeware
