Glad I bought it
I'm pretty happy with this. It's a good size: big enough that it doesn't disappear, without being huge. And it really does change color. Mine is a nice orchid pink in most lights and goes a very pretty blue-green in flouresent light. So far, it's the only one of these lab-created alexandrites I've found that changes color. The stone sparkles and it shows clear under a 10x jewelers loupe. It's well cut and well polished. The setting is substantial without getting in the way, showing off the stone, and the split shank adds a nice delicacy. Only down side it that it takes a while to arrive due to international shipping, so plan ahead if you need it by a certain date, but it's definitely worth getting. I found it well worth the wait.

Lovely
It's not huge but it is a nice size. I bought a chain made for small bales since the bale was too small for the chain I typically use for my pendants.I have yet to see it turn blue but I think that's because I am rarely if ever in artificial light. So it perpetually stays a kind of purple-pink. I have no doubt that it changes with the light because I can see changes within the pink and purple range outdoors and inside my house which is mostly natural and warm light.Once covid is over and I can go into office and store settings I am sure I will see it change to blue in cooler, artificial light settings.I also purchased the matching ring and they are a pretty set. They are consistent when they shift in color.I am very pleased with my purchase.

It really does change color according to the illumination
I love it! The pendant is simple, elegant - and under fluorescent light it looks like a green amethyst, but under natural light it looks purple.

does not change color like a real alexandrite
I thought it was too good to be true but checked it out anyway. Does not change to the colors it should as a true alexandrite. Got my money back. That was good anyway.

Not much color change
This stone stays pretty much pink with an occasional purple hue but definitely nothing as dramatic as the teal green/blue transition that was what I was really hoping to see and as was shown in the advertised displays. Kinda disappointed overall that I have just a plain pink stone.

Much larger than expected, which I like. Bale is nice and big for many sizes of chains.

This is just the right size for everyday wear! It came two weeks early. I’m very satisfied. Changes color too. Would recommend.
