will buy again and again!
First lets get the EWG rating out of the way. Blue lizard SPF 30 sensitive has a rating of 1. 1!!!!Does it work? Ya. Better than any other sunscreen I have used. This includes all the brand names like coppertone or banana boat. But do you have to reapply it every other minute? No. I am Caucasian but I have skin that tans easily. I will still burn though with prolonged exposure. I recently purchased blue lizard for a Florida vacation. I put the sunblock on about 10 minutes before going out. I go out and plop down on a lounge chair from 10-1. Get in and out of the pool a few times. Sweat like crazy in the 90+ degree sun. Go inside and take a nap. Reapply sunblock and go back out from 4-8 and sweat, swim, and lay in the sun.Do you look like a ghost or does this stuff rub in? I did not have a problem with it leaving a white tint on my skin. It won't completely rub in like a spray on sunscreen or regular lotion. But it won't be a white streaky mess. I tried a badger sunscreen before blue lizard and stopped using it because not only did it not work but it was a thick and messy and made me look like Casper the chubby ghost. How does it feel on your skin? I will tell you that I don't like wearing anything on my skin. I don't wear makeup. I rarely use lotion on my body. I tolerate the sunblock because I don't want to burn. Blue lizard feels like any other sun product I have used except that it has a bit of a waxy feel to it. So it doesn't feel like bare skin, but it's not much different than regular sunscreen. So you have to spread it on with a putty knife? NO! This is the biggest difference between blue lizard and other mineral sunblocks. It goes on really well. It spreads evenly and quickly. Even my husband commented that is went on really well compared to the Badger. Some people complain that mineral sunblock is hard to remove. I just soaped up as usual and scrubbed with a washcloth and my skin was clear with not a lot of effort.Does it smell like hippies? No. It doesn't smell like anything. Odor free.According to blue lizard's website this product is NOT tested on animals. Yay!Last words on blue lizard.I still got a tan but didn't burn. I didn't run around looking like a streaky ghost. I didn't have to soak my body in chemicals in order to keep from burning. Will buy this again.I am in no way associated with blue lizard and was not asked to review this product. I do this out of the goodness of my heart so other people who like to research products before they buy have a true understanding of how a product works.

Face vs. Sensitive for Rosacea.
I purchased both the Face and Sensitive version of this sunscreen because I heard nothing but good things about Blue Lizard products. I wasn't sure which one to use since I had never tried their products. I have a fairly bad case of rosacea and the sun tends to be my biggest problem. I didn't want a sunscreen that left a white cast my face. I also wanted a mineral sunscreen that wouldn't aggravate my rosacea and would offer adequate protection. The Face Version has Zinc Oxide and a chemical sunscreen. The Sensitive version contains Zinc Oxide and Titanium Dioxide. Both offered great protection and didn't seem to aggravate my rosacea. The only difference I noticed was that the Sensitive version was easier to rub in and blended well with my skin tone. The Face Version was more difficult to rub in and left a white cast. I tried to rub it in really good and it didn't blend as well. Both are creamy white, and a little goes a long way. Both versions need to be rubbed in very well but the Sensitive disappeared on my face easier. They are fairly expensive but since you don't need to use alot for protection, I feel the price is worth paying. Originally this product was made in Australia but is now made in the USA. It is still high quality. Don't be discouraged by the 30 spf of this product because it is a true 30 spf. Do some research and see how strict Austrailias laws are regarding sunscreen. They cannot label their products higher than a spf 30. This product does not seem to be waterproof. They offer a sport version but have never used it. Sensitive works well for my needs.New update. I purchased the Sport version of this sunscreen. It has not aggravated my rosacea. It is a totally different sunscreen than the Face and Sensitive versions. It still has 6% zinc oxide, but also contains 3 other chemical sunscreens. It has a different smell than the other 2. All 3 are non fragrance but the Sport has an initial scent during application that quickly goes away. To me, it smells like witch hazel. Also the Sport does contain parabens. The Sport version blends easiest of the 3 with my skin tone. The bottle says it is water resistant for 80 minutes. It goes on a little oily but seems to absorb quickly. Also I did not burn, so it offered great protection. For me, I would probably use the Sport if I knew I was going to be out in the sun all day and knew I wouldn't be able to re apply as often, ie, trips to Disneyland weddings at the beach , the kids soccer games, etc. All 3 are great products.

Worked for me
Use sparingly. You need to rub it in well to avoid looking white. Comes out of bottle quickly. My skin reacts very badly with sun creams once in the sun, usually very itchy red, sore blister like spots and skin feels like it is burning (and I never lay out in the sun) but this cream did work for me. Had no bad reaction in 30o sun.

Great product
Love this product & I have been using on my 5 year for a couple of years now. She previously had eczema & would be prone to dry skin. Blue lizard is the only sunscreen that doesn't bring her out in a rash. Would highly recommend.

It seems to be getting worse as I get older and although Reimann P20 worked ...
I have very sensitive skin and get both prickly heat and heat bumps in hot sun. It seems to be getting worse as I get older and although Reimann P20 worked for a while it's now no longer effective. I used Blue Lizard for the first time on a holiday to Greece where the temperature was between 25-28C. Although I had no trouble with prickly heat (for the first time in years), I did get heat bumps although not as severe or as itchy as I'd had previously.I didn't find it difficult to work into my skin and I ended the holiday with a nice tan. Would I buy it again - yes, because it's the best I've come across so far. But I'm going back to Greece later this month and although I'll take Green Luzard, I'll also give Ultrasun a try.

Good product with no nasty ingredients
Love this product. Just wish it didn't come off so easily after being sat or lying on the lounger. Although that may just be me.
