Pentel RSVP Super RT Ballpoint Pen, (1.0mm) Medium Line, Pink Ink, Box of 12 Pens (BX480-P)

I was hopeful for the new ink but sadly this underperforms for me. I am a die hard fan of the original retractable rsvp and usually go through one a month with my job. I do a lot of record reviewing and form signing. The Super RT gets me 1.5 WEEKS with the same use. First thing I did when I received these was pull out the ink tube and compare it. It seems thicker and longer and holds more, but since the ink is much more “flowy” it runs out quick. The ink is darker than the original but smears more too. Once finished with this box I will go back to the original RT. Apart from the ink I also dislike the new contoured grip that forces me to hold the pen where it is unnatural for me. Thankfully the grips from the original fit the Super, so I just easily switch them out. And I know I’m being picky but I don’t like the chrome tip. I like being able to see if the ink is about to run out before I settle down with some paperwork. Again, easy to swap parts with the original.Ps dear Pentel, make refills more affordable!! I can get a box of 12 pens for the price of 4 refills. How does that make sense?

I love this pen. It's my favorite pen to write with now. Two stars for the pen itself. The problem is that I thought I was ordering a box of pens. The photo shows a box of pens. In the description it says box of 12. But I only received 1 pen. ? This price is too much for just one single pen.

I’m NOT thrilled with these pens at all. I really like the other RSVP pens by Pentel, so I thought I was getting a better version! WRONG! These are awkward to hold, the ink skips, (super irritating) and when it’s not skipping its kind of flooding or goo-ing out too much. I’m super bummed about this purchase! I don’t have the $ to waist, but that’s what happened here! I’ll NEVER stray away from the regluar RSVP pens again! Pentel, please fix these!

Somewhat dried out

They aren’t what I had in mind. My favorite pen ever is the pentel RSVP with the lid in a fine or medium tip. I was hoping this click pen would be similar, but to me it feels different and doesn’t write as smooth. It’s just different. There’s nothing wrong with this pen. It just wasn’t what I wanted. I should’ve stuck with my favorites! 😊

The black ink on paper reads good but it tends to skip when first using them then the ink flows like it should. Like they skip on the first couple of words when starting to a sentence. Like on every sentence.

Not my favourite for writing. Would prefer a slimmer version of this pen but still the quality of ink could be better.

I love a fine too blue ink ball point pen. Not only do these pens accommodate that they are comfortable to hold and write smoothly on most paper.

I’m a nurse always looking for the best fine point blue ink pen - and these are IT!!!! Gave a bunch away at Christmas and ordering my third box soon!
