Lawn care game changer
I wish I would have purchased this product years ago! Our family doesn't spend a lot of money on "extras", and I debated over making this purchase. I was exhusted with dragging hoses, setting phone timers to move the hoses, and planning my mornings / evenings around watering schedules. Thanks to this product, we were able to go on summer vacation during a record Texas drought and still come back to a surviving lawn. Our water bill was lower than the neighbors with sprinklers and our grass looked greener! The price on this product was also well worth the time I gained back in my life.

Best Faucet Timer out there for intuitive use.
I’m a professional and this is the best all around faucet timers I’ve used. Controls are very simple and versatile. Faucet connector is durable with a brass insert, and housing and buttons feel solid and long lasting. Has hose thread instead of pipe thread on the outlet (which some have.) Mostly it’s intuitive. I have spent a half hour trying to figure out a clients faucet timer with no manual, total nightmare. This one took 3 minutes to figures out and set without a manual when it arrived. Also, it’s set up based on days not days of the week. This allows you to water every two days three days etc. timers that use day of the week are terrible because if you water twice a week you end up watering every two days and then every three days, which makes no sense. My only complaint (listen up Gilmour!) is they it doesn’t have a hinged plastic timer as others do. I have not had one fail yet, but it seems inevitable that with the sun beating down on the exposed face you’ll run into trouble eventually.) install it in a shady spot if possible.

Not durable-But Gilmour Warranty
I am loyal to the gilmour brand due to their demonstrated durability, however I am very unhappy with these timers. I have 4 if the single timers and 3 of the doubles. So far two of each are no longer working and all are less than 1 year old. One, the screen stopped working (yes, replaced batteries, tried the reset button). On the other 3, water squirts out of multiple locations unless the timer is flowing. Obviously, that doesn't work because a majority of the time the timer is not flowing. Really bummed, that is a lot of investment burned. Still waiting to see if Gilmour will replace them. EDITED: Gilmour replaced all of the non-functioning timers, under warranty. No comment from them on if they changed manufacturing and this was just a fluke, but I'll update at the end of the season. (I also wonder if some of the ones being sold on Amazon by 3rd party sellers may be defective? May never know).

great device, dreadful customer service
Supposed to have lifetime warranty. Mine conked out in March at 2 years old. I am still waiting for replacement. Gilmour was owned by Fiskars which, after I'd waited a month, informed me I should pursue warranty satisfaction with still another company. It's June and I am still waiting. Of course, I had to replace the device because it's the growing season so if I eventually get satisfaction, I will have a backup when this one also conks out. That said, it is easy peasy to install and use. Love the device.

Great product backed by great company support
I bought this product close to a year ago when I decided to use drip irrigation for my pots and plants. Easy to use and easy to install and did what it is supposed to do. Very recently the display started to give up. I checked my order status and saw that I still have one month left on the warranty. So decided to reach out their support team. Went to their website and saw a section for warranty claim. Filled all the required information and then heard nothing for few days. I thought it not going to work and won't get anything, but then I got surprised to see an email a few days later that they have shipped the replacement piece. I was totally impressed and was also pleased to see that the company is ready to stand behind their products and customers.

Faulty
I just got around to installing this several days after the return window...trusting it would work. It doesnt work except on manual which makes it worthless. The timer would only set for an AM time....no PM...and the every 12 hours setting failed to turn on as well. Reset didn't work. Taking batteries in and out didn't work. Rain delay was on 0 so that was not the problem. Spent an hour trying to figure out what I did wrong but finally concluded it is a faulty unit. Too late to return...but will still be under warranty ONLY I am going on vacation and need it NOW.Have sent a message to the seller and hope I get a quick response.

Works great
Bought it so I could automate my raised garden beds, I hooked my drip irrigation system to it and it works exactly as intended. Inset the timer to come on at 6pm for a 15 minute water cycle and it comes on at the set time every day and runs for exactly 15 minutes. As the garden grows and requires less water you can set it to come on every day, every other day or just once a week if that's why your needs are.. set up and programming is extremely simple, if you can count and tell time you can program it.. I have others for different lines that cost $40+ at the big box stores and this one works exactly the same
