Be very careful when opening!!! Open over a sink or a dish. It will explode/leak.Pro tip! Get a long needle and just poke through the hole in the lid to avoid spills and it'll still work the same way. Actually gives more control on amount that comes out when poured.Other than that it's an amazing product, works very well, and really easy to use.

I like the way it mixes with my paint, and the way it spreads the paint on my canvas.

As a watercolor artist and occasional oil painter, I always shied away from acrylics because they dried up to fast as I painted. I prefer to work wet on wet and blend my colors on whatever surface I use but found it impossible with acrylics.. until now. A friend recommended a retarder which I had never heard of. They said it prolongs the drying time so you can achieve the same results as an oil painting and they were right! I'm now working in acrylics and loving it, the drying time is a bit longer and that's all I needed and the best part is when it dries I can go back in a short time and add highlights. My artwork is going faster which allows me to get more done, thanks to this stuff and a little goes a long way.

Quality, no. Makes acrylic paint slimy but inconsistent. Although it doesn’t dry as fast your paint will thickens on canvas. Ended up using water and linseed oil to smooth it out. Bummed 🫤

I enjoy this product because it gave me enough time to apply the acrylic without it drying too quickly. It's really a great product when applying acrylic powder to your nails and the drying is too quick. It's worth the price and I'm sure I'll purchase it again.

This is perfect for slowing down the drying time so that we can manipulate the paint for longer. Great when trying to blend colours on a canvas!!
