Winsome Genoa End Table with Glass Top and Shelf, Espresso

After reading some of the reviews, I almost changed my mind about buying this little end table. But, I like it so decided to give it a try. It arrived today. I was a bit dubious about even opening it because one side of the carton had a hold in it. I proceeded to open it carefully and was pleased with the way each part was wrapped separately so it wouldn't get scratched. After carefully inspecting each part, I proceeded to put it together. It took me all of 10 minutes to do it and it went together flawlessly. The glass fit perfectly and the table was perfectly level. It did not "rock" as someone else had indicated nor was it wobbly. I wiped it down with a damp cloth to remove the little bits of styrofoam and moved it into place at the end of my sofa. I couldn't be happier. I can see where this table will last me for a very long time. I love the color, and I especially love the elegant style. I would most definitely recommend this table. You won't find anything better for the price. It's worth far more than what I paid for it.

When we first received these tables I was a little disappointed because they were so much smaller then my tables I had before. BUT I was wanting a change in my living room because we bought new funitture and I was tired of big bulking tables because they take up so much room. After we rec'd the new furniture and we put these tables on each end of the couch and one next to each recliner.....I fell in love with them. Instead of putting lamps on these tables I bought very attractive pole/floor lamps to sit behind them. They look amazing. The quality of the tables is great. Solid Wood. Rich dark color. The only draw back is that these tables show dust easily. But all it takes is one swipe a day. No big deal. I would recommend these tables to anyone looking for a small, rich, elegant little table.

We purchased this and the matching coffee table. This one arrived first. Assembly was a snap, has cam-lock hardware for the legs (a bonus) and seems well-made. PROS: great upscale look for the price, made of real wood, appears to be a quality/solid product, I was able to assemble this without help. CONS: One leg is slightly shorter than the other 3 - not enough to shim with an adhesive pad. Fortunately, this little table doesn't see a lot of action and just has to look pretty. I gave this 4 stars because of the shorter leg issue. However, this would not stop me from buying again or recommending to others.

Table is sturdy and well made. True espresso color. Easy to assemble. Winsome makes good stuff.

Looking at other current reviews I bought this and was pleasantly surprised. Item came in nice box, padded, and original tape and did not look like it was opened previously. When I opened the box the table pieces were wrapped and packed nicely and tightly and glass had Styrofoam packing around it. All pieces and hardware were included. I took my time putting it together, not to rush putting in the screws per previous posts. It came together easily. I did not tighten all screws tightly the first time, just went around the whole table screwing it a bit each time as not to damage the wood or crack it by over tightening it. Glass insert was in good condition. I am pleased with this table, size and all. I needed something a bit smaller for the are between a chair and couch and this fits the bill.

For $59, you get a few pieces of shaped wood, a piece of glass, screws that have to be driven with allen wrenches (when will manufacturers give up on those blasted things?), and a finish that looks pretty but mars easily and could have been applied better. And the cam locks, as others have noted, are the cheapest, cheesiest metal I've ever seen. Even forewarned, my wife managed to snap one, and we ended up coming up with a workaround involving stiff wire and hot glue. For your effort you get a cute little table, and if you don't go over it carefully, looking for the various fit and finish problems, it looks okay, though not quite as dark as the photo shows. As long as you understand that this is not fine furniture, and keep your expectations reasonably low, you get a small but serviceable little table made of a light, but solid, wood. The grain shows though the finish - the surface is not mirror smooth - but the overall effect is pleasing. Not recommended for houses with children, as the glass top is just an inset and is doomed the first time the table goes over. I can't help thinking this would be more appropriately sold from W*Mart at $49, already assembled. Only three stars given, because of the cheap cam locks and a price that strikes me as a little high.

We needed a small end table next to our chair for people to set their drink on, so this table worked out perfectly. It looks super cute in our space. The finish is pretty and it doesn't look cheap. We ordered it Sunday and received it Wednesday so it came super fast. Everything fit together nicely. We did have a little trouble with the assembly because you must get the screws perfectly inside the circle on the shelf in order to use the lock bolt to secure it. It isn't wobbly and the glass fits perfectly in the hole. We usually don't buy our furniture online, but the price was unbeatable for the classy look. We felt more comfortable after reading the positive reviews, so thanks for the feedback. Hope this helps make your decision on the table easier. :)

Very simple and elegant, easy to put together with a hand drill. The finish, glass, and wood, all arrived in perfect condition. Table is a little wobbly but that's my only complaint.

The quality is very sturdy, well‑made furniture. Everything arrived securely packaged with all parts included. The pieces were easy to assemble, and overall they look great!

I ran into some a couple of pieces of different hardware putting these tables together, so the first table was a bit of a learning experience!! The second was assembled much quicker & I learned something new! They are very sturdy tables, & when assembled, polished up & the glass cleaned, they look much more expensive than their picture. I'm not sure if it was mentioned in the product information, but you will need a "star", medium size screw driver to assemble the tables. The only problem, & it was insignificant to me, was the wooden plugs would not all stay in the holes to cover the screws, so I just added a few drops of crazy glue to each one, & problem solved!The tapered legs really make give these tables as I mentioned, a more expensive look. They arrived extremely well packaged.

It got delivered on time, I assembled it by myself in about 20 minutes with no problem. Very cute and glass sits nicely, mine is covered but I read in reviews some people complained about it. Tip to make the legs even (another complaint I read here) : before you tighten the top 8 screws that hold the top of the table, flip it on it’s legs and make sure legs are even, I literally climbed on it ( and it held me… lol). Glass was last in after I was happy. The only reason I gave it 4stars is the colour. I thought espresso meant black, or dark brown almost black. It has reddish hue into it, especially visible when sun shines through the window.

Love, love, love these tables! I bought 2 round side tables, 1 rectangle side table and the coffee table. They are a beautiful dark color, very well made, the glass has rounded edges. All round amazing quality and look fantastic (a lot better than I thought they would).
