This is the 4th Black Drive I am buying. Haven:t faced any issue with the WD Black drives. Very well built and with awesome speed and worth every penny.

i combined it with my ssd and other hdds... gave good spead​ with spead test.... my purpose is to install games and this hdd is good at it....very fast delivery by Amazon

First of all these drives are shipped with almost no packaging or cushioning by cloudtail. The drive had damaged sectors and all file read/write operations slowed down to a crawl. All this happened just 2 days outside the return/replace window. So Amazon refused to help out. At this point I have nothing good to say about their return policy, especially with regards to a high end product like this. The windows are too rigid, especially since this is an item that you would just install in your desktop PC and forget. So the chance that the item got damaged by user handling is very low, and it is more likely that the piece was defective to begin with.For anyone considering buying this, I'll say this:1. Think twice.2. Once bought do put it through performance checks and benchmark it within the return window.At this point I'm trying to get in touch with WD for an RMA.

My primary drive is SSD, not sure its always active or not as mostly I feel when I access the drive it starts making sound as if its just waking up!

Super fast; Noiseless. Serves the purpose well. Recommended for power users.

I bought this because it had good reviews, and it was a frequent recommendation in case you need more storage for your files and games. I would recommend this for storing mostly large files (movies, music, etc) and also for your older games that will not be affected by loading times that much. Anything older than 2010 is okay to keep in this drive.Aside from that, I wasn't expecting this drive to be as noisy as it is. Don't get me wrong, it's not as noisy as the hard drives from the 90s and prior. Compared to those, this drive barely makes a sound. However, I can't say my computer is completely silent anymore like it was before when it only had SSDs attached (aside from the fans spinning).I'm not a person who cares about noise levels, so it doesn't bother me. It's just something to have in mind.

WD is my go-to for storage. I've found them to be very reliable.

I honestly have no comment on this WD 2TB drive as a daily drive. It was purchased to be used as a backup drive in an external housing, so although its on all day, every day, it is not subjected to the stresses of a main drive.You should consult any reputable review site for info if that is what you will be using it for. As a backup drive it has worked flawlessly so far.

6 Meses de uso para almacenamiento de archivos y juegos. Buen rendimiento en general no se nota una diferencia relevante a nivel de juegos el tenerlo en un SSD o en este HDD, util para almacenamiento en cantidad/calidad.
