Why didn't the maker include the fire starter or a sharpening stone for honing?

The reason I believe the marker didn't add anything else to this product is because its on the customer to get a Firestarter or Sharpening Gear(stone,knife sharpener)small enough to fit in that small pocket. You're better off putting a box of matches in there
