Update Oct-08-2021: Lasted about 1.5 years before the heating conductor failed. This was a manufacturing weakness. Element was clean, no debris or staining from anything put in the oven, no autoclean cycles, and no outward signs of damage except a minor dark spot where the interior damage occurred. It was a minor enough stain that I didn't notice it until folding up the element to dispose of it. The outer metal crumpled and what appeared to be ash fell out. Knocked a star off because of the type of failure. Still worked well enough, for cheap enough, that I was willing to buy another to save searching for an alternative. Lazy wins the day. Apr-2020: Spades are soldered directly on the element core rather than crimped on an intermediate copper wire. I only mention that because the last one I ordered was odd in that it had the terminals crimped onto high temp insulated, (what appeared to be) stranded copper that went into the element tube. That's the only one I've ever encountered that didn't have the spade terminals soldered onto an insulated solid-core heating element with a solid metal jacket. This element seems pretty standard third party quality, no obvious functional difference in the OEM part.

My model is not listed in compatible models, but this part showed up when I searched my model. I have a GE 164D3871 P001. The specs matched with the actual part so I ordered it for under half the price. Lifespan unknown. It works. Preheated oven to 350 F in 10 minutes. This is a good test to run and this will also burn off the coating before you actually cook a meal. It will lightly smoke and produce a smell during this time.

Used our oven regularly after installing this element. After only a year and a half it broke and started arcing. Will not buy again.
