These run a little big, got size 40 and they fit perfectly. Normally I get size 41 (I wear 9.5). Work well for narrow feet.

I need a hard-soled shoe with robust arch support. Always had a little disdain for that "Name Brand" trendiness thing, so always have ignored the Birkenstock brand; seemed to me like paying for the name more than anything else. After trying a pair of REALLY expensive custom orthotic slides from my chiropractor that were "okay", I figured, let's try a pair of Birks just for the hell of it since the "expense" of the Birks was WAY less than the custom orthotics. The custom orthotics were promptly returned. Because these are so good. I wear these the minute I get up in the morning until I go to bed. Only drawback is that they're completely impractical in the snow. Go figure.

This is my third pair. Somewhat expensive but I like them.

Same company makes a cheap plastic version of these that are more comfortable.Whoever cut the leather for the straps cut the wrong angle on the right one so it stabbed painfully into my foot. Nothing a little work with a rasp couldn't fix but for the price you would expect better QA on the production line. Do not expect to get the quality the company used to be known for.Again would recommend the cheaper all plastic model.

It appears that they sent me narrow fit. I couldn't figure out why they felt different than past pairs, then I compared them to someone else's, and these ones are much more narrow and 'pointy' in the toe. I am disappointed that I cant return them now.

I bought these shoes at a store and they were so great I ordered them from Amazon and either these are knockoffs or they just don't have the same quality because they're not nearly as nice as the same exact shoe that I bought in the past.

As always dependable fit, look and feel. Still love the leather uppers- this colour ( Iron) is particularly wonderful.

I should like to thank 4 feet shoes for quickly replacing the sandals I ordered with another pair in a smaller size. These sandals are all the better for having had to wait for them. Thank you to 4 feet shoes for sending me a replacement pair which I received today even though there has been a postal strike delaying deliveries and returns.

I have loads of Birkenstock (ten pairs) and NEVER had any issues with any of them. I love them all. BUT this pair is a bit odd. The straps are far to short, so I cannot close them properly. So needless to say really how disappointed I am. So this particular pair I would defo not recommend.

Very comfortable

I decided to try the narrow version of these sandals as my feet are thin and tend to swim in most shoes. I have tried the normal version before and have been really happy with them with the exception of the shape of the toe bed as my toes don't follow the standard slope and would welcome a more rounded toe shape. The narrow version seemed more sloping shape than the normal so my toes were over the ends. I will stick to the regular ones as I can make them tight enough for my thin feet.
