perfect, amazing, comfy LOVE IT
My husband and I love this couch. We used it as our everyday lounging, napping , and horse pkay with our son. It was stiff at first but with any piece of furniture it needs broken in. Both my brothers have slept on this couch and thought it was comfy. The color is just beautiful! I love earth tones and this couch just eases the eyes and relaxes you after a long day of work. The chaise is reversable which is awesome because it allows more flexibility with arranging your living space. The only semi negative thing I have to say is the fabric will show water marks and with a toddler a lot of thimgs have been spilled, I had to learm how to clean this kind of fabric without leaving a water mark, simple soap and warm rag won't do the trick. Other than that I am so happy we bought this couch over 2 years ago! Still looks amazing, feels amazing, and compliments keep rolling in. Sadly after this long we are buying a new sectional for our new construction home and putting this one in the family room but will still get some love.

A giant mistake.
This is my post-mortem for this couch that I purchased this month exactly one year ago. Against my better judgement and friends who advised me to try out a couch in-person before purchasing, I went with Amazon reviews and ultimately settled on this couch. The Pros:This is a big couch and the color is not bad, if you like a modern / zen style interior lookThe Cons:I had issues with this couch from day 1. One of the "feet" on the bottom of the couch could not properly screw in, so I have a bandaid solution where I just let gravity hold it in place and hope I never have to physically lift my couch. Next, the build quality on this couch is just terrible. I attached a photo of what the inside of my couch looks like (after lifting the cushions). I have never stepped on my couch with my feet and I live alone, so it's pretty much just me on this couch all the time. I don't abuse it at all and this happened about 4 months in.Perhaps the worst part of this couch are the cushions. They always had a very springy, not-so comfortable feeling from day 1. Now, they really do not hold their shape, and I find myself sinking into my couch. I weigh 180 so I do not think I am horribly obese. Now, I essentially have to rotate my cushions (180 degrees, or with another cushion on a section of the couch that is used less) to have a barely suitable solution.Bottom line: Don't be stingy with the your couch and go with this economical solution. At the time of purchase, I didn't want to buy anything nice since I still move a lot, but this couch is not even at an IKEA build level, which I never had any issues with in my youth.

Very happy with it. But with update
Update 4-2-13 Still like this couch very much BUT. After owning it for only about 3-4 months and mild use (single male sits mostly at his desk) I've begun to notice an indentation forming on the lounge seat(one I sit in mostly). Its odd. Not like breaking in the cushion with a softening effect, but more like an uneven sponge that will not form back to shape? I'm really hoping this will correct itself but its been 10hrs since I last set in it and noticed this and it has not reformed. I'm afraid it may be very very cheap padding for the couch and the "sponge" will over time not reform. It started out very firm and I don't mind a "softening braking in" but this is like lumpy dents.I'm taking off one star for now. Time will tell I guess.Very nice Couch. But very cheaply made.Came in three huge boxes. Two boxes held the couch/chaise and one box held the Ottoman.Be aware that the Couches and Ottoman both hold the cushions and tools (there is a zippered compartment in the bottom of the Ottoman and the bottoms of the Couches have a Velcro cover. Both are hollow inside. The quality of build : The Couch is very cheaply made with thin wood and the seat underside is made of a crisscross of material (See pictures). The Ottoman is made much more solidly. The legs are i think solid wood. At least they feel like wood. And are dark brownish/cherry wood looking. The way the back and arm rests are attached is somewhat worrisome for the long haul due to them only being attached by two long screws to each back/arm section (See picture of directions uploaded)and the screws only go into wood. It seems very solid but I just don't know if it will stand up to time and wear. What I plan on doing is reinforcing the whole thing. I'm going to get several L shaped metal brackets to place inside the couch corners and 2x2 boards to screw into the wood inside to make it much more solid. I know that the way its built now would not stand up over time.Build itself : The Couch and Chaise are not connected. When lying on it, it does seperate. I'm going to get metal straight brackets to connect them so this will solve that issue. The Chaise is one whole unit.It is not a diagonal chair with ottoman as a foot rest which some sectionals are. This is a real sectional couch. You can have this set up with the Chaise on the right or the left, unfortunately though you must decide on which side before you put this together due to the arm rest are screwed in. In order to change sides you'll have to tip the whole thing over and unscrew the bolts of the are rests and reverse each armrest. You can do this but it would be a pain, so be sure before hand. The directions come with how to put it together by which side you place the Chaise on.Cushions and comfort : There are no back removable cushions on this couch. There are four throw pillows and two seat cushions for the Couch and Two seat cushions for the Chaise (One seat/one leg) which are removable but the seat cushions are not flip-able, they have a black material on the bottom side, but they do have zippers so you can remove the covers and wash (See pictures). The Chaise "leg" cushion is attached with very strong Velcro to the body so it will not move around and I find this works very well. I prefer the back to not have real cushions because the seat cushions are very wide and allow you to add your own back cushions if you like to add more comfort and style. The back is two units attached onto the main part of the couch and one unit on the Chaise and is sort of a spring type cushion which is comfortable on its own. But is short and only comes half way up my back.Couch Material : The material on the Couch is very nice and has a microfiber suede like feeling to it. Easy to clean and looks very nice. If you look at the pictures I uploaded the color is not charcoal but a deep bluish gray color which I like much more and just has a rich look to it.Comfort : The Couch is very firm which I like. Perhaps over time it will brake in more and be softer but right now its perfect for me (don't mind softer though :) ). I LOVE the Chaise! I'm 6' 230 lbs and there is plenty of room. Here is the dimensions I took :Seat Cushions --- 29"x 29"Chaise "leg" Cushion ---- 29"(long)x 36 (wide)"Hight from floor to seat -- 17"Back cushion (Seat to top) ---- 17"Inside sitting area (Not counting the armrests ------ 90" (7'6")Total Chaise Length ---- 66" (5'5")My feelings are that this is a very nice couch. Cheaply made but looks fantastic. Not worth the $700 total this cost me (price+tax) as your really paying for style over substance but once I spend a little more on the metal brackets and wood to re-enforce the whole thing I would say this will be a super couch and well worth the $700. I just wish they would have spent just a little more on reinforcing this couch right off without me having to do it.Now if you are an elderly person or a single female I don't think this will be necessary for you as your lighter and less rough on furniture but for a family or big guys like me and my brother you will defiantly need to do something to make this stronger as this will not last long on its own. After saying all this I would still buy this and do love this couch. Oh a side note. My brother who is 6'2 and 350 lbs has been visiting me and sleeping on this and he likes it very much.4 Stars for looks and style2 Stars for Build

Worthy of a review
I, like another reviewer, was pleasantly surprised. Although I was bit hesitant about purchasing a sofa online, without ever having seen it in person, I decided to throw caution to the wind and proceed with the purchase. The product arrived relatively quickly; about one week. When I saw the three boxes that arrived, I got a bit nervous thinking there was no way the two bigger boxes housed a full size couch (The third, smaller box held the ottoman). But much to my dismay, and due to some very clever packaging, the boxes indeed held a full-size sectional. After some assembly - about 30 minutes worth - blossomed a lovely sofa. In terms of quality and assembly, think: a step or two above Ikea. (For $500.00 you can't go wrong) I posted some pictures so that anyone thinking of buying the sofa would get a better idea of what the sectional looks like (Purple and grey room). In terms of size/scale, it is currently in my living room which is 19' x 11'.The sofa did come with an ottoman and four matching 18" pillows. I, personally, do not like that pattern on the ottoman or pillows so I had the ottoman covered and am working on covering the pillows. The only think that frustrates me with the sofa is that the chaise and sofa are not held together by anything, so they tend to drift apart. I am thinking a bracket or some non slip pads will do the trick though.
