Cock Grease "XX" Extra Stiff Pomade

It holds. Perfect for my side part mini pomp. Getting it off my hair takes a few showers though. Besides that good product love the smell.

I have a low side-part pomp, and I was looking for something with a bit more hold than Murray's. This is it and then some!I popped open the can of XX to find a greenish-gray solid mass of product. I tapped on it with my index finger, and I could barely make a mark in it. Rather than fight with it, I used the blow dryer on its hot/low setting to heat it up for about 15 seconds before I scooped it out.Got it out of the can and into my hair....which was damp. I know, I know, oil and water don't mix....but my hair is wavy in the front. If I let it dry before putting the product in, I can't get it to straighten out. It took a little bit of effort to work it into my hair and slightly more to comb it through. Be careful, and go slow at first when combing, or you're likely to lose some hair along the way. Once I got the comb through a few times, i was good to go. I styled my hair to an almost finished state, and then topped it off with White Lightning light weight / high shine pomade (which is really shiny but surprisingly not too greasy looking) and finished styling.It's about 7 hours since I did my hair, and this stuff is holding up better than Murray's did for me. It's worth checking out.

This is the perfect Pomade it has a great vanilla scent and it holds in any environment best of all it proves that you can make a great pomade without​ being over expensive.

It has artificial dyes in the product. The black dye will stain your clothes. Just stick with Murrays

The company seems great. Let me at least begin with that. This stuff is no different than pure bees wax. I wanted a firm pomade and settled for this as it looked to be the closest. Unfortunately, it's not. Perhaps I need to try a less "stiff" version? I don't know. but i'm not happy with this.

To start off, this is NOT the same Cock Grease from japanese company fine cosmetics which is what i expected. This is waxy and smells a little musky, as a pomade this is petroleum based and that's fine if that's what you're looking for, but the japanese cock grease was a water based and smells like pineapples pomade which i prefer out of pure convenience.my go to pomades have always been the Cool Grease Line from Fine cosmetics (Cock Grease, Fiber Grease, Cool Grease XX etc.), so its a disappointment that this is something totally different. thats not to say that product is no good, the similar naming scheme (especially with the XXTRA-slick and XXXtra hard or whatever) made me think that these were the same, i'm planning on returning this.

After using Murray's for 3+ years I switched to Cock Grease, just so i could say cock in public without anyone getting offended. From the first time I used Cock Grease I knew it was the pomade for me. You can command your hair to do what you want and have it stay all day without your hair getting super curly after a couple of hours of use.

It kept my wavey hair straight alllll day. Washes out in two washes.
