Arguably phone of the year - even against the OnePlus 7 Pro
Let's be real here, if you're buying a flagship smartphone you are either picking an iPhone, the OnePlus 7 Pro or the Samsung Galaxy S10/S10+. Being someone who is very enthusiastic about tech and smartphones, I'm going to go ahead and say this is the BEST smartphone I have EVER used. Design is the best, software is better than stock Android.Pros:- Brightest, sharpest and most beautiful display in any phone (Although 60 Hz)- Design second to none- In-display fingerprint reader which works even during rain- Excellent cameras- High-end specs, plenty of fast storage, processing power and RAM. Does not overheat.- Ridiculously good battery life (I get an average of 20 hrs on a full charge - measured using AcuBattery)- Hole-punch at the top leads to some excellent wallpapers (see Reddit -> /r/S10wallpapers)- Always-on-display is excellent for notifications and can be heavily customised- Galaxy Buds work flawlessly with this and are the best in-ear earphones I have EVER used by FAR (I own airpods too)- Never EVER EVER lags or crashes (Although I manage it well but no custom ROM required)- Fast wireless charging is actually fast (About 2 hours from 0->100%)- Excellent brand (yes, this is a pro for some people such as business professionals)- Lots of features which may initially appear gimmicky but are actually useful:E.g. I thought reverse wireless charging was POINTLESS and SLOW until I was at a hotel with only one charger and wanted to charge my phone and my earbuds (Galaxy Buds) overnight. I plugged the wire into my phone and wirelessly charged the Galaxy Buds using my phone. This is just one example.Cons:- Fingerprint reader not as fast as OnePlus 7 Pro's optical fingerprint reader, nor as accurate as a capacitive sensor- Stock Samsung One UI icons and design does not complement the phone at all- Lack of 90 Hz display- Naviagation gestures aren't intuitive and are significantly inferior than iOS' gestures- There are a lot of must-have applications, without which your phone doesn't reach its true potential- If you are a power user you will have to tweak it a lot till you can truly get a sense of its greatnessA few notes about my personal setup:- Nova Launcher prime using LineBit icon pack and a black wallpaper with an RGB ring following the edges and cameraThis gives it an "RGB" look, work really well together and saves a lot of batteryNo text on home screen- Remap Bixby Button using bxActions:Single press = Do not disturb toggleDouble press = Samsung Pay (works like a charm)Press and hold = Google Assistant- Google Assistant used instead of Bixby wherever possible (including Google Feed when you swipe to the right on the home screen)- Google Messages instead of Samsung's default Messages app since it has support for web-application- Samsung Calendar (great dark theme)- All email accounts setup using default Samung mail client (Office365, Outlook, Work, Gmail)- SimpleNote for notes- Samsung Internet (BEST dark browser ever)- Samsung Music for the most bit & Spotify (though VLC for video)- Telegram used with AMOLED theme which saves a LOT of battery and looks stunning- Slide for Reddit (AMOLED theme and no adverts)- YMusic (need to download apk) - essentially YouTube Prime or whatever it's called with AMOLED theme available- Overdrop Pro used for weather app (also has AMOLED theme with most beautiful interface I've ever seen)- Simple Gallery: Photo Manager & Editor - best Gallery app. No bs, no slow loading, no ads, highly customisable- CityMapper for navigating around public transport in London with BusDue as my goto Bus Application (no adverts, simple and clean interface)- Samsung My Files as my file manager- Reselio Sync to wirelessly synchronise all my music from my PC to my phoneThere's a lot more I can get into about particular settings but I believe this is a good place to start and once you spend enough time with the phone you will be able to appreciate that it really only has 3 downsides, which are:- Lakc of 90 Hz AMOLED display (albeit only one other phone has it, OnePlus 7 Pro)- "Good" in-display fingerprint reader (albeit only one other phone has a really good one, OnePlus 7 Pro)- Navigation gestures aren't worth it (would require you to switch to iOS or BlackBerry 10 haha)Moreover, if you want to pick a phone in 2019 you need to judge it by the least number of cons and I think this phone wins using that criteria by a MILE.Best design, great battery, amazing camera, never lags. Never Sett - oops, wrong phone. Jk, I say it's worth it and the Galaxy Buds are too. I usually hate Samsung products but I have to hand it to them this time, they got pretty damn close to achieving G.(Phone)O.A.T.Verdict: 9/10.

Super quick, great service and an awesome phone
UPDATE: Almost 3 years down the line and the phone is still going strong. Very happy with it still. ๐After an initial panic where I thought I received the wrong model, I got a call from meelie mobile (the seller) within 10 minutes of sending my message! They were so helpful and patient. Turns out it was the correct model and I just panicked for nothing. They even sent me a confirmation email while on the phone to put my mind at rest and also stayed on the phone while I opened the box. Brilliant experience with the seller and the phone is fantastic! I went from an S7 edge to this S10. The finger scanner is fine. The only reason it might give you issues is if you put another screen protector on. It already has one fitted. The data transfer was really easy and the camera is fantastic! As standard this phone has screen recording and a barcode scanner in the pull down menu at the top. Nice touch! Its beautifully sleek yet sturdy. I love everything about this phone. Oh and I got it a day early! It arrived the next day after ordering and that's down to the seller. It comes with a business card with the name, date and time of the person who checked and packed it for you. If you're unsure about where to buy it, then buy it from Meelie mobile. They're a great seller and would definitely buy from them again.

Galaxy S10
This model which is about 6 yrs old now can still kick some of todays phones around the floor with its features, i believe in its day this phone was one of the few Samsung produced as their flagship model and cost at the time just under ยฃ1000, it boasts too many things to list but is an awesome phone with a great camera.

Another great Phone from Samsung, but that Fingerprint Reader
I moved from my S9 Plus to this as I wanted a less bulky phone with the same size screen, so opted for the S10. The build quality is excellent, as you would expect for the price. Setting up was really simple, as migrating from an existing Samsung phone. Although has to manually move stuff from my "Secure" part of the phone. The phone is faster and smoother than my S9+ and much lighter. I added a UAG Monarch case and Whitestone Dome Glass screen protector to it for protection, so wasn't too bothered about the colour. The camera is outstanding, but it's hard to tell the difference between this and the S9+. I do really like the "perfect shot" feature, which helps to take great pictures. As to the inbuilt fingerprint reader. To be honest, it doesn't work all the time and is particularly annoying when trying to pay by cashless contact. I would say that it works about 70% of the time, which is far from ideal Even with multiple fingerprint added. Adding the screen protector had no effect on the sensitivity of it. It is a great feature, but the failure rate is too high. Hence no 5* rating for the phone. If you have an S8 or lower, then go for it. Otherwise wait for the next model.

Great phone. Very stylish. Just right size
Early review. Still getting used to the phone, however, initial impressions are great. Love the looks and the glass front and back. Lots of functionality and settings to play with if you are that way inclined. I was slightly concerned about the slipiness of the phone but now I have it in a Tech21 Evo Check case that worry has gone away without losing any of the looks or slim feel.Smart switch does restore data from Kies3 backupsI was upgrading from a dead Galaxy S4 and could not find good advice on how I could get my data out of Kies3 backup and onto the S10. I spent days trying to find a solution and got quite angry that Samsung had not provided a transfer facility for those customers who look after their phones and keep them for years. I read up about Smart switch but all it said for old phones was you can connect them together and Smart switch will transfer the data. (Not if the old phone is dead). In the end I gave up and plugged my new phone into the laptop with Smart Switch for PC. I was amazed to see my last Kies3 GS4 backup pop up as a restore option. I ran it and it worked. Oh Samsung just one extra sentence in your Smart Switch web pages would have saved me a lot of angst and time.

โGrade Aโ has continuous โmoisture detected problem would not recommend buying
I bought this phone refurbished and it was advertised as Grade A, but Iโve had problems with it almost immediately.Within the first week, I started getting a โmoisture detected in charging portโ warning. At first, I thought I might have accidentally got the charging port wet, but I hadnโt. The warning disappeared after a day or two, only to come back about a week later and stay for several days, making it very difficult to charge the phone.Since then, the same issue has kept happening in a continuous cycle. In top of that even when the warning isnโt showing and the phone does charge, it takes an unusually long time to reach a full charge, which suggests thereโs something wrong with the charging port. For a phone sold as Grade A refurbished, this is extremely disappointing. I expected it to be in excellent working condition, but instead Iโve experienced ongoing charging problems from the start. I would not recommend based on my experience.

I love this phone!
What a shame I can't give more than 5 stars!I upgraded from a galaxy s6 and its like stepping into a new world. At the end, my s6 needed recharing 3 or 4 times a day. The s10 lasts all day and after 16 hours of moderate/heavy use still has about 30% remaing. Stunning and surprising.I can't go into all the features of this fabulous phone but everything is so good and so slick. The screen quality is mind -blowing.I absolutely love it. I did a lot of research on an online video site and I have followed numerous tips and tricks.Transfer of data from my s6 was spectacularly easy and efficient using the Samsung app.I've had the phone for a couple of weeks now and it still makes me feel good.In my view, the only weakness lies with the included wired headphones. They work OK but the sound quality is not spectacular. If you're I just the market for a new smartphone, don't hesitate. I would highly recommend this phone.

Beast post root. Excellent spy machine w/o root
When rooted, this thing is a beast. MUST GET GLOBAL VERSION (2 Sim card trays) FOR ROOTBefore rooting, running Mobile COD would use 25+% of battery in 2 hours of gameplay. After rooting and happily uninstalling spyware that CAME WITH THE PHONE, reduced to 12-16%. 8% when I ran on medium settings & high framerate.Standby after rooting only uses 1% of my battery on Optimized Mode but I turned off background data use and background battery use which was the real culprit of warm to hot screen and app lagging. Once you root, you can give the middle finger to the app devs that unarguably spy on you.Fair disclosure: This phone is only for gaming and taking pictures. Not my daily driver.Camera is a small upgrade to my S9 and i adore the macro photos i can now take. S9 didn't perform so well in closeup shots. Took too much effort with S9.A good phone for me is based on it's performance in gaming, camera and it's use on battery life.
