I waited almost 1 month to get these but worth it. I wanted no wooden handles and generous flat size to make kebabs on my outdoor propane Weber Grill with the lid closed. I don’t cook with charcoal. These are well made, stainless steel and fit my kebob rack allowing the drippings to fall into a disposable large pan I used underneath. Safe the canister they arrive in for storage . They are pricey but will last a lifetime of use. Because they have no wooden handles and if you rotate them over an open flame you need gloves. My plan was to bake in a closed propane grill. The length allowed me to place 6 horizontal on my Weber Grill with lid closed.

Okay so these are heavy duty. Wonderful! Beautiful heavy weighted skewers and I really enjoy them. I wanted something for Persian kabobs that I could throw into the dishwasher, didn't want something with wood. Issue is, the plastic tube holder for the skewers arrived broken. Tube because the item itself is awesome and I need to use them and I don't want to wait for a return and reorder. I'm wondering if the seller can just help me replace just the tube.

I saw a super cool recipe for Adana Kebobs Ivan make at home I HAD to try. Sadly they fell off my skinny stick skewers. I bought these shish (as the recipe calls for wide shish) They work great. They seem to be well made and fabulous. However, in my small NYC kitchen and my tiny cast iron skillet, they are just comically long. I wish there was a version of half the length but same width. That’s nothing against the shish itself. It’s great. If you are cooking in a grill these will be A+ It’s a pointy metal stick :) I like it.

These skewers rock - sturdy metal that handles veggies, kababs, and heavy cuts of meat perfectly. Without the wooden handles, you have more options to move food around on the grill to ensure even cooking without having to worry about burning a handle. The storage tube is thick and very durable. Highly recommend these.

These are superb kebab skewers - nice and wide and very, very sturdy. I'll only echo some other reviewers' wish that this company also sold a shorter version. I can attest to just how sturdy the skewers are because it took many minutes of effort CUTTING THROUGH THE DARN THINGS WITH A HACKSAW (my little Husky saw - I live in an apartment and don't have a workshop) so I could have a few that'll fit under the broiler of my stove. It worked in the end but I still need to file the raw edges. I only cut a few of them and left the rest long to use when I can set up a grill in a park. Despite the effort they're great skewers and I'm not sorry that I purchased them.

Sleek, simple, great storage tube. Used a few times with no complaints. The skewers are long enough that the ends stay cool, makes for easy grilling. Love it!

I use these on the Weber gas grill with the skewer stand (brought separately ) and use indirect cooking for chicken tikkas , tandoori chicken etc and direct heat for beef Adana kebabs ., easy to use , meat doesn’t slip n flick giving excellent control . Too easy to clean and store when not in use .

You might think that a simple item like a metal skewer would be difficult to get wrong. I've actually purchased two other sets before stumbling upon these, and they left much to be desired.
