... Because they have a darker shade of grey and not the usual lighter brown color. I've been taking IP-6 RYR for 10+ years because I was severely allergic to prescription cholesterol meds. Red Yeast Rice was suggested to me by my kidney transplant doctor.

This product was recommended by a naturalist and indicated that it was safe and the best on the market. I got off of prescription meds and began taking this. As long as I take it my blood work is great. Went off of it for about 3 or 4 months and it and my cholesterol skyrocketed. Back on it and I am back to perfect.
