As I aged my fingernails started to split and get caught on things like my pockets when I was trying to get something out of them. I tried clear coating them with Dabby which is also suppose to enrich nails with vitamins and minerals. This didn't work for me and I couldn't find a solution from anyone in the manicure business. I found this product by doing a simple search on the internet and it really does what it says. I think I could actually turn a screw with my nails now and not have them split. I am so happy with this product. There are also other benefits such as making your skin look younger, making your joints work more smoothly. I am 64 years old and people have told me that I look like I'm in my late thirtys to early fourties. I don't really care much about that though. The reason I started taking Hubner Silica Gel is for my nails. If you have lines on your fingernails and they split along those lines, I would suggest that you give this product a serious try. I'm a believer.

It is a great product for your hair. Postpartum I started loosing hair really bad - I lost hair even when I casually touched them. The water in our neighborhood is very hard, so that did not help either. My hair had become very rough - lost all its shine and of course were breaking so easy that I was almost afraid I will be bald soon. I started using Silica gel and after about 3 months of continuous use I feel I have so much better hair. the shine is back - they feel healthy and stopped breaking. I do not see much hair loss anymore. Just one caveat is that that you have to take it continuously - the effect goes away if I stop taking it. I have been taking it for 7-8 months now and its by far the best treatment I have found to keep your hair healthy.

The men in my wife's family has always sworn by silica and its effect on hair growth. Her grandfather pasted at 96 years young and had a full head of hair, her father 76 and full head of hair. I started thinning at the crown of my head (luckily only have to see it a the barber shop). This product is pricey, but after taking it every morning for 6 months, low and behold I noticed (at the barber shop) it seemed to have filled in somewhat. Then my wife and mother-in-law said something. Its working! So, I'd say give it a try, the only down side is my toe nails are becoming so thick they're tough to clip now.

Excellent pure supplement however tastes weird and cumbersome packaging

I have been using this supplement for years and it works for me. I can see it in the condition of my fingernails. I’ve tried stopping it thinking I was imagining that it was working….but, yep, had to get back on it for results. Only complaint is that it’s too expensive.

I'm wiping through these bottles and reaping great benefits. not just nails and hair, but joints have improved greatly, the muscle owies are diminishing, so is heartburn and many other digestive issues that have plagued me for years, where doctors said that that was just part of getting older. NOT SO! I'm finishing up my 2nd month and can't wait to see where I'll be after the whole 6 bottles are gone.
