London Teapot Company-Chatsford 4-Cup Teapot with One Red Filter, Green

Having broken my previous teapot I could not remember how many "cups" it was supposed to hole. We use mugs for tea these days and they hold half a pint of liquid each. My previous teapot was only just large enough and needed filling to the brim. I am delighted to say this new one holds one and a half pints, so plenty of room for two mugs and allowing for topping up, or a third mug.

This is not my first Chatsford teapot. I already have a 6 cup which makes three mugs of tea. I've had it for years, purchasing new infusers when needed, but I wanted a smaller pot. I bought the 4 cup which just about makes two mugs of tea. The only thing I'm not totally happy with is the handle, which I find a bit small.Overall a good teapot, easy to clean and pours well.

This is about the fourth Chatsford teapot I have had but this one's is not as a good at pouring as the others. Wasn't sure whether they had changed the design slightly or whether they are all a bit individual. Sticking with it as it's one of the few teapots available with a strainer for tealeaves.

I should have ordered the six cup teapot as my husband normally as a large mug of tea. but it is ok but next time I will go the the bigger teapot.

Have been look everywhere for one of these. Big enough for 3 decent sized mugs of tea and filter so no loose tea leaves.

I've had exactly the same Chatsford but in white for 8 years before it developed hairline cracks and started seeping through Easy to empty, convenient, no dribbling, great all-round. I was looking forward to a nice bright colour of a new teapot but unfortunately it's not a bright green, more of a faded blah colour. what a shame....

A great price for a great product. As well as the other people that have bought one of these I question the whole 4 cup claim, maybe small china cups. It gives me 2 big mugs, and for me, that's perfect.

A good teapot for making leaf tea - this was a replacement for the 2 person one that the lid got broken on - it is a better size if you drink mugs of tea.
