365 Everyday Value, Alaskan Wild Salmon, Pink, 6 oz

Canned will never be as good as freshly cooked salmon, but this Whole Foods own brand (365 Everyday Value) canned Alaskan Pink Wild Salmon is a good option for quick meals and salads. It's not fancy grade and it's a bit salty, but still tasty and fishy (in a typical salmon way)..The can contains slices of salmon trunk, almost disintegrating/flaking; it's definitely not a firm meat.I like that this product contains only salmon and salt, no other odd preservatives or fillers.There is quite some of liquid in the cans, I usually drink the juices instead of draining. The can contains 6oz, including juices; drained weight varies around 4.5oz. Some cans have no bones, some have soft bones (in the middle of the steak/trunk).I also prefer the smaller quantity (3 servings), as I mostly cook just for myself.Note: The cans I received do not have a key/pull tab, as the picture shows; I used a canned opener, it was as easy to open as any can.

Omega-3's. I Like It Mixed With A Little Sweet Relish; And The Least Likely To Clog Yours' & My Arteries. I Eat This Without Bread! The Combination I Make Causes This Natural Response To The Protein That I Require.

This is a good tasting salmon. I wish it came with the bones in it as that would make it a good source of calcium along with protein.

This little can is perfect for a dinner for two with possible leftovers for a tasty treat

Not bad for Pink Salmon or a quick snack. I really like the pull tab.Price is decent as well.
