Gibson Home Souper Douper 4 Pack 29 Ounce Soup Bowls with Plastic Lids, Turquoise

I’m a teacher who packs my lunch. I cook meals and then freeze them in plastic containers but don’t like to reheat in plastic. Using glass bowls makes a difficult transition from the microwave to the table. These mugs are wonderful! The vented lid helps cut down on microwave time. The handle keeps my from burning my hands. I’m not sure if the lids are tight enough to prevent spills should my lunch bag get jostled. I haven’t had a problem since I’m transporting my food frozen. I’ve also started making my morning oatmeal in them. I’m sure I’ll be using these bowls for years to come.

I am honestly surprised that this product hasn't yet received more 5 star reviews! These extra large mugs are the perfect size (deep enough and wide enough) for holding dinner-sized portions of soup, chili, or any leftover that can be eaten out of a bowl. The handle is comfortable to hold, and the lid fits on nicely but not too snugly. The color is pretty (as pictured), though definitely not turquoise...it's more of a muted, mottled, two-toned aqua, typically of terracotta. The set of 4 mugs is very reasonably priced, and I highly recommend!

Beautiful ceramic soup mugs. Microwave safe. My husband eats a lot of soup and has been using plastic mugs that eventually became stained and worn from overheating. I’m trying to get away from plastic and these mugs are the perfect replacement.

Great mug, large size was nice! a few little bubbles in the ceramic in one of the mugs when we got it. Not a big issue. Also, the handle does get a bit too hot when microwaving them for soup, so have to sometimes let it cool or use something to grab the handle with.

Bought these for my husband as he likes the coffe cup handle. Great for soup and a lid to refrigerate the other half of the can.

Absolutely LOVE these large soup bowls! Finally found a large soup bowl with a lid that I can use to heat my Progresso soups in! They’re absolutely beautiful too! Highly recommend!
