Drunk Elephant C-Firma Day Serum, 1 Fluid Ounce

I've been searching for an effective Vitamin C facial solution that produces observable results. I could see a difference within a couple of weeks of using this serum. The wrinkles under my eyes smoothed out, the puffiness at my eye lids was reduced, and my skin overall looked brighter. Every skin is different, of course, but I'd recommend trying this if you're not happy with the product you're already using - or if you're thinking of adding a Vitamin C to your routine. One negative for me: It's sticky and hard to smooth onto the skin. I learned to tap it instead of spreading it and it worked just fine. I'm not happy with the texture, but I can set that aside for the results. One caution: I would order this product directly from the Drunk Elephant website. A third-party supplier sent me an out-of-date container and they would not provide a refund or a replacement. The folks at Drunk Elephant went out of their way to take care of it, and I'll be loyal to them. Also, the container is way smaller than you expect. Use it wisely and it will last longer than you think it will.

I like the productThat said< i won’t be purchasing it from Amazon again. The package was beat up, not just the amazon package (who cares) but the package it comes in. When I opened the package, the bottle itself had scuff marks all over it. So I’m not sure if it’s really old, or it’s been used or what but…felt sketchy and won’t be purchasing this product via amazon again, or at least not this seller

First off, only buy from Lock&Mane, as they are the only Amazon sellers authorized to sell it. You want to know you're getting a retail product, and not one that was obtained through back channels, and excess inventory recyclers.I love this serum enough that I gave this to everyone as a Christmas gift. I have very sensitive skin, and any active ingredients usually make it break out, or become oily and inflamed. I had NO REACTION to this. None. Just beautiful glowing skin.You can tell it is an active product, because it heats your skin as it goes in. No duds here. Oh, and please Drunk Elephant... FIX YOUR PUMP!!!!!!!! Worst product dispenser ever. Only way to make it work is to aim it down your finger like a runway, and it will leave a long line of product. Otherwise, it ends up all over the counter, mirror, etc. I want it on my FACE.

This is the second bottle of Drunk Elephant C-Firma Day Serum that I've purchased (the first one was directly from Sephora). There are a number of facial serums on the market and some seem to make no difference and make me doubt that there are really any effective or quality ingredients in them. But I really like what this C-Firma serum does for my skin. To me, it's close to the quality and effectiveness of Skinceuticals CE Ferulic serum which is my top favorite but comes with an even higher price tag.Besides high percentages of Vitamin C, Vitamin E, and Ferulic Acid, it contains other antioxidants to prevent oxidative stress and visible signs of aging and sun damage, while improving firmness.While it took a week or two to really notice a positive difference, I noticed certain things right away. I don't normally think of my skin as super sensitive, but I overdid it with this serum at first and I could tell. I applied it all over my face when I first got it, and then did it again before bedtime. Shiny pink face! Since this serum works to overturn and shed old skin cells, it was too much for my skin to use it twice a day. I was silly to do that since it's marketed as a once-a-day product. But I'm so used to serums that have little to no effect, that I blundered ahead.Using it once a day after my morning shower works great. The gel absorbs quickly and makes my skin feel smooth and tight. It's the tiniest bit sticky which isn't great, but I've noticed that same thing on the few serums that have been effective for me. The stickiness goes away after I use a tinted moisturizer or bare minerals powder.I would have given 5 stars but I hate this container. For starters, it seems like a very cheap type of plastic which isn't in keeping with this product's high price and Sephora counter known brand. But the worst part is the mechanics of getting a dab of the gel out to use. You twist the orange bottle top and up pops a dispenser. It's not always easy to dispense the right amount--and at this price I hate to waste any. I've found that by dispensing a small amount on the back of my hand to use from, as opposed to trying to squirt some onto my fingertip and having it hit the countertop or mirror, works best for me. It gives me a tiny puddle to use from to apply to my face. My first indication of how well it was working was when I noticed that the skin in a 1-inch circle on the back of my left hand looks great! Yikes! Though it has some good ingredients that I was searching for, and the packaging is good, this serums' sticky feel and stinky smell is a disappointment for its price! It smells offensive and although a good, strong smelling moisturizer can oppress the musky burnt paprika smell, you can still kind of smell it. I feel like if I talk closely to someone they will assume my breathe smells of something smokey that I ate! I may mix a drop of this in a citrus-smelling serum that could overpower its smell! For $80 a piece I didn't expect this issue. It's also sticky so not something I would want to use on a hot day.

I’ve ordered the vitamin C serum many times and this is not it. The serum comes with two vials and you mix them up and it creates a orangish liquid.This came as one vial and the liquid is brown. It doesn’t look, smell or feel like the vitamin C serum. This is for sure a scam. Do not buy this product.

This is a great serum. It smells like a blown out match, and it's orange due to the pumpkin. I was iffy because usually when Vitamin C serums turn orange, they have oxidized. But I confirmed with the company, sending them the same picture, this is how it's supposed to look. It definitely brightens my skin and helps fade the sun spots. I just wish it wasn't so pricey. But you get what you pay for. The packaging is really cute and effective,the ingredients are top notch and it lasts quite a while.
