Gootium Canvas Messenger Bag - Vintage Shoulder Bag Frayed Style Satchel

My son got himself this to take on a flight to the USA as his carry on/under seat bag for all his essentials like meds, passport, phone, earphones, charging cable etc. It was absolutely ideal as it had so many pockets and was spacious enough to accommodate what he needed for his travels. Well made and good quality, decent value for money with secure zip closures on main compartments and magnetic pop-open catches on other outer pockets. A really nice bag indeed.

I wasn't sure if this bag would be strong enough to use as an electrician's tool bag, but I have to say, I’m really impressed with it so far. I’m using it for smaller electrical hand tools and the bag is nearly full, but it holds everything really well. There’s plenty of useful storage, with one zipped pocket on the back, two front pockets, two internal pockets, and another zipped pocket on the inside back. The canvas feels strong, and the shoulder strap also feels very sturdy. It’s comfortable to carry and the size is ideal for smaller tools without being a huge, bulky tool bag. I obviously can't comment on its long-term durability yet, as I've only been using it for a short time, but so far, so good. It has definitely exceeded my expectations. For anyone looking for a compact bag for smaller tools, I’d definitely recommend it. 🔧👍

Nice bag pretty well made, exactly as described- i use this if i am travelling light, it will even take a small Laptop, tablet, SLR (that’s camera not rifle). Its got an inside zip pocket good for documents phone passport etc.. it weighs nothing empty and will scrunch up to fit in a suitcase for travel use as a day bag. The strap can get uncomfortable if using all day with a bunch of heavy stuff in but its ok.

My first thought when receiving this bag was that they had sent me the wrong one, but on checking the photos, it seems that the one I received is the closest to the ones shown, but it is definitely not green or at least not the colour in the photos. It is more of a beige colour. After the initial disappointment, I decided to keep the bag and it feels great. It feels well built, the material feels nice and it has pockets in all the right places.

I bought this to keep my bits and pieces in when travelling, and needed something that would accommodate a thick A4 pad, this is just the job. It is absolutely top quality, both the materials used and the stitching with not even one loose thread. It is reinforced in all the right places, yet not unduly bulky. The straps, buckles and snap fasteners all work well, and the zips are very heavy duty with a nice feel about them. The fabric is hardwearing but soft giving the bag a 'relaxed' look. I really can't fault the bag except for two personal preferences, the zip on the main compartment does not fully close that section leaving two open ends under the flip over flap that will let rain in, and the two outside front pockets have no fasteners to stop things falling out. But these are trivial and in truth unlikely to detract from the practicality of this bag given that they can easily remedied by the use of the many other pockets and a loose waterproof cover inside the main compartment. Good size without being bulky, great looks and loads of uses. Pricey, but you get what you pay for.

Just the right size, has a heavy duty, weighted feel to it. Strap and fittings, are securely attached to the bag. Zip's are nice and sturdy. Plenty of pockets and thankfully no magnetic fastening, just good quality snap poppers. It's comfortable to carry, and deal's with being loaded with books. Only time will tell . concerning durability. Would I buy again? Yes. Update nearly one year on and the bag is holding up well, it's had plenty of use and been heavily loaded. And yes I have bought a second one. Love the retro frayed edge design.

Great bag I've been waiting for it to be restocked and immediately got it and was pleased! Only problem is the sides are open and smaller items like pens or earbuds can easily come out for example if you tripped or dropped your bag the chances are higher of those small items to drop out. Also not water proof since rain can go inside the bag at the sides But overall really good, it can hold a water bottle at the side which is really helpful and has loads of storage so definitely worth the price! 容量 布だからか思ったより多く入る。ほぼ同サイズの鞄を使っていたが、こちらのほうが余裕あり。 外ポケット 前面 2 つのポケットはけっこう大きい。450 ページの文庫本がぎりぎり入るぐらい。 左右 2 つのポケットはそれほど大きくない。小物入れ、といった感じ。 背面は融通が利くので、入れたいとは思わないが、タブレットなども入る。 内ポケット 外側前面と同じ程度のポケットが 1 つあるが、もう 1 つは横幅が狭く、 内側裏のポケットは幅も狭く、底も浅い。内ポケットの収納能力はあまり高くない。 見た目 写真通り。レトロな佇まいが大変によい。 ベルト ベルトに幅があるためか、肩への負担が他のバッグより少ない。 メッセンジャーバッグばかり使ってきたが、この鞄はピカイチ。 この鞄にしてから肩がぐっと楽になった。 総合 とても気に入っている。しかもこの値段。 耐久性はまだわからないが、仮にだめになっても、また買いたいと思う。
