OtterBox Galaxy S10 Commuter Series Case - BLACK, slim & tough, pocket-friendly, with port protection

this is my first Otter case. I have received it today and I love it! It is sturdy, yet relatively sleek, and the design is well thought through. The back is protected extremely well. The front has good ridges on the short sides (top and bottom); perhaps not so good on the long sides, but I thing it's not the Otter's issue, but the Samsung's design with curved side edges. I personally don't care for the curved edges. The case will still provide an adequate protection, unless you drop it from a significant height full front down--then the glass may break, so you still have to be relatively careful, but if you do drop it like that, don't blame Otter, blame the Samsung design, or, otherwise, be careful with your phone. The buttons are well thought of, and the openings for headphones and charger are covered, but can be opened, if need to be used. If you want a holster clip, perhaps you need to spend a bit more and get an Otter Defender, but otherwise, I think this one provides as good a protection as possible for the phone.

UPDATE: It has been over a year with at the very least 50 drops from all different heights and i still love the case. My phone is spotless. No scratches or dents or cracks. I've even dropped it face first on rocks & the lip still protected my screen. I'm seeing a lot of 1 star reviews because the case breaks. If the case breaks that means IT'S DOING ITS JOB. I'd rather my case brake and just buy another one than my phone break or shatter the camera or screen. I'm about to purchase another one, but I dont have to. It's holding up just fine even with the cracks. Old review: I have dropped my phone several times and this case absolutely protects my phone. The raised edges and the raised camera hole on the back do wonders protecting my screen and my camera from cracks. It also protects from scratches because my phone screen is never touching any surface due to the raised edges. I've been an otterbox customer for over 3 years now and I will never go back to any other phone case. This case is worth the price and does its job perfectly.

Everything about this product is exactly like it's promised. It fits snuggly on my phone. The protection it gives my Android is solid. My hands can grip it comfortably. The cost is very affordable. I can take it on and off (if I wanted to) without any trouble. There are no moving parts! (LOL) This is the second time I've purchased this product and I'll buy it again in a few years, it's very durable. Five star recommendation.

If you are debating an OtterBox case, just stop looking and buy one now! This case has saved my phone so many times! I have purchased two of these pink OtterBox cases and they are so cute! The quality of the case and the durability is unbelievable! After dropping my phone several times the case did eventually break on the corners, so I purchased another one but I know it saved my phone from all the falls! The only complaint I have is the rubber protective case that wraps around the phone stains easily. I usually put my phone on my back pocket and it is clear that the blue jean die is coming off on the phone case. I have tried several ways to remove the stains, but it is permanent. I will never purchase another brand of phone cases again!

This case has taken taken a couple bumps this past year and it shows, but thankfully it does its job and my phone is perfectly fine. I've bought the same case twice and they have both broken in the exact same spot. The case feels sturdy and still allows the phone to be charged wirelessly with my Anker wireless charger. Though when I try to use the Wireless Powershare feature, to charge my galaxy buds and watch, the case prevents the buds/watch from charging. I will probably not buy it a third time, given the fact that it continues to break, but if your a little more cautious than me this is a pretty great case.

Great case, appreciate that they still make a case for the S10

The COMMUTER series is intended for people who do not use their device in extreme situations. As such, this case works perfectly. It's never going to survive being ran over by a car but my phone is usually in my hand or in my purse. OtterBox is one of my most favorite case manufacturers , and I have tried others with varying degrees of success. I really like that it separates into two pieces so I can completely wash the silicone piece and remove any dust or particles. I rated one star down on the sturdiness just because I think the shape of the phone makes the front of the screen very vulnerable. I'm not sure if OtterBox could have gotten around this phone design issue or not. It does make me a little uncomfortable even though nothing has happened yet. I did have a case on an S6 that I dropped a couple of times and the exterior hard plastic case did get cracked. It was totally usable but I chose to replace it anyway to prevent any future damage. Same is true for this one I bought two, in case I damage one. I will say all the years I've been using OtterBox, then total I believe, I have never had a phone get damaged to the point it was unusable or hard to use.

I had my last case for several years before the soft buttons and share port covers finally wore out. I was glad I could get the same case again. It is definitely good quality. The grip is great! Fits my s10 perfectly. And I feel it's worth the price. The color wasn't quite as pictured but I did still like it.

I've dropped this phone many times over the 2 years that I've had my phone. No cracked screen or damaged phone. Note: I did have light screen protector on the whole time. Otterbox has been my go to phone case for the past decade. Good build quality and value. I always go commuter series due to the balance between bulkiness and protection. The only thing that has broken on me is the tiny plastic bridge between the USB-C port on the front of the case. Unless they added a steel rod going across, this was going to break due to where the port was located. Otherwise the case has aged well and my phone is protected. Highly recommended to those that need to protect their phone.

I have always used Otterbox to protect my phones and this is up to the usual standard.
