MRS. MEYER'S CLEAN DAY Air Freshener Sachets, Fragrance for your Locker, Car, Closet, and Gym Bag, Basil, Pack of 3

This is my second time ordering this product. The listed item count had changed since the last time I ordered from three to one, but I still received a small box with three sachets. I'd describe the Basil fragrance as slightly sweet, herbal, and fresh. The envelopes work best in smaller spaces (bathrooms, entryways, and closets) and can be tucked into small spaces. The fragrance lasts about 4 weeks.

Very strong scent

I will say that basil is a difficult scent to find in air fresheners. I was very excited to find these, but balked at the price of $18 for three small sachets (each is only slightly larger than a credit card). I bought them anyway in the hopes that they would still do the job. And they do. The scent out of these is very strong. However, it must be a different variety of basil as it does not smell exactly like sweet or Thai basil to me, which are the two I am most familiar with. They definitely have a laundry soap type smell more than a herbal/tea type smell. Kind of waxy? They certainly do put off a good amount of scent in my medium size closet, but I will probably not be purchasing these again and instead purchased some basil oil from handcraft blends that I am very pleased with. It is not as strong as these sachets, but the scent is much more natural and pleasant, plus it was 1/3 of the price!

Since I read a bunch of reviews saying they didn't have any scent, I wasn't surprised when I put it in my pantry and didn't notice a difference. Then, for whatever reason, tonight, I happened to think 'I wonder what's in this envelope that should smell?'. Sure enough, I opened it and found a sealed sachet inside the paper envelope sachet. #facepalmCut that open and immediately understand why the other set of folks say the scent is strong. I'll probably re-instate my attempt at auto-ship. I love Mrs. Meyers Basil scent best and that's what I bought. It doesn't smell exactly like the hand or dish soap, but close enough for me.I think it would be great if these were also available in the Honeysuckle scent. *hint - in case anyone from the brand/Amazon wanders by*

I love the Mrs. Meyer's Basil Scent so these Sachets were a great find for me. They seem to work nicely but only for a few months. I do like them so I may buy them again. Maybe I can try using the Mrs. Meyer's Basil Room Freshener to keep them going longer.

I've been using Mrs Meyer's products for years. The dish soap is great, the multisurface cleaner is great, the room refresh spray is great. My preferred scent is basil. Lovvve that scent.These sachets, though, were a huge disappointment. They don't smell at all like the basil. I'm not sure what they smell like. The scent is ok, just not even remotely like the basil. I put one in my car one night and yes, I removed all the plastic. The next day... nothing. Nada. Zero scent.Don't waste your money.

I use them for my car. The scent is not overpowering and giving it a little shake once in a while releases a boost of fragrance. My favorite thing is that it isn’t a nasty super chemically based scent that attacks you. It’s a little mild, but just enough, which I appreciate.The basil scent is just so yummy! It is a calmer scent. The honeysuckle is a more powerful smell if that is what you are into.

You may think this is pricey but I always say, you get what you pay for. This product works so well, is safe for everything including animals, and smells great!
