cheap and sturdy!

For reference, I am 5'10" and 172lbs, fairly slim/athletic. Pros: I was worried the pad would be too narrow, but with proper form it works fine. My elbows are near the edges, but it works. If you are big or have really broad shoulders it may not be ideal. Cons: while you can adjust the height of the bar rest and arm pad, you cannot adjust the seat forward or back. The bar rest is not at my arm length, so I have to make a conscious effort when I'm placing the bar down. Not a big deal though. It is also very light. When I lift the bar for my initial rep, sometimes the entire unit will shift. I do my set with my feet holding it in place. Overall: if you are not large and just lifting semi-casually then you can't really beat $40 for your home gym. I do wish the pad was about 2" longer but I am still happy with this purchase.

This curl bench is really sturdy, well-made and easy to assemble. The pad where you rest your arms when doing curls is about 6" too narrow and I constantly feel like my elbows are going to slip off when I'm using it. I will probably fabricate a new larger pad for it and replace the one it came with. if it had a larger pad I would have given it 5 stars. The unit is well priced and looks aesthetically pleasing.

Love this preacher bench , I have been working out for over 45 years and because we built a new home there was no place to keep the equipment so I sold everything now I’m back to getting new equipment and this is perfect
