These rasps really cut the wood. Great for shaping and quick removal of wood. Definitely recommend for any wood workers tool kit.

Good rasps for light work. Some flat file rasps have a smooth edge that doesn't cut, which is useful in some applications. This one has some teeth that stick out along the edges, which is good for what I need them for, cleaning up the corners of mortises. I bought this set because I was looking for 1/2" wide files, and the information said .5". But the flat file is 3/4". I don`t know why only the length of the file is stated in most listings.

Very course teeth, will do just what they’re supposed to do.

The two they say are 1/2" wide are actually 3/4" wide. The 1/4" round rasp is 1/4". Other than that, they are some mean rasps!
