SOLiD. Ease of use. Fast installation. Everything included but a power block.
This is a very handy and nice unit... It bridged the gap between retro 80s my Kyocera 65 watt per channel receiver to my 1080p television with ease and solid sound quality. It had all the chords I needed in the box with the exception of the block to put in the wall... Although this is not an audio file level DAC, it's a SOLID mid-fi unit. Quality. Ease of use. And it took minutes to install--excellent.

Solution for Providing Audio from Samsung QLED Q60T TV to Analog Amplifier with Passive Speakers
It all started with a loud pop - with that our old TV went gently into the night. We purchased a new TV with RCA ports but discovered when we unpacked it that these ports were IN, not OUT. We use our stereo system to listen to movies on DVD/Blu-ray and Netflix. The Prozor DAC is a cost effective solution for providing audio to my Yamaha A-S1100 amplifier via an optical cable. It is compact and simple to connect (optical cable from TV to DAC, RCA cables from DAC to Amplifier), and powered by the TV’s USB port. It is necessary to turn the volume way up on the amplifier to hear the sound, so we have to make sure to always turn down the volume before playing music from a CD player. The sound quality is more than adequate. Very satisfied.

excellent product
Bluetooth and optical inputs worked fine. The unit switches between the two automatically, to pick up the optiocal input you drop your bluetooth pairing. Bass output is a bit less than another older bluetooth adapter I have but is very negatable. You get a usb power cord but no power supply. Good value and good quality for the price. Sound quality is good, channel separation is perfect. Update - still working great but I noticed it says "bluetooth connecting" (or connected or something like that) when connecting to the optical input also. Update to update - over a month later, still working fine. Bluetooth range is good. The one thing I do miss with this unit is a remote control for volume.

Works well (when it knows what it's supposed to be doing)
It works fairly well when it is locked on to the correct source but sometimes it doesn't know if I want to use the wired input or the bluetooth input. This device desperately needs a physical toggle so that I can manually tell it what I want (this toggle should also contain an Auto setting in case I no longer want to do manual switching). Sometimes I have to switch inputs on the TV (like from broadcast TV to HDMI) so that the DAC knows I'm sending audio that it needs to output. The golden ring that protects the 3.5 mm output fell off the first time I unplugged the aux cable. Easy enough to snap it back into place though. Other than these issues, it works great.

Great sound and easy to connect!
I read the reviews for similarly priced Bluetooth receivers on Amazon and finally decided on this one so that I can use my vintage stereo system with all of my digitized music. (I rate my stereo system as a mid-range sound system with above average speakers. A Kenwood KR-5400 with Evaluator speakers including air-motion transformer tweeters and new woofers.) I've only used it for a few hours and here are my first impressions: - The sound range seems fine with plenty of high and low end. (Compared wired to Bluetooth with no perceptible difference.) - The range is outstanding. ~120-feet line-of-sight before the signal degraded. - I have connected the unit to a vintage iPod and a brand new Samsung phone with no issues. (I did not read the directions. It was that easy.) - I can control the volume with my phone and vintage iPod up to the maximum volume I have set on the receiver, in combination with the volume I have set on the unit – currently set at about 50% in case one of my neighbors connects to it and tries to blow my speakers ;-) (There is no security on the Bluetooth connection to prevent others from connecting to it.) - • I can't hear that it’s causing any interference with my receiver components and it’s sitting right on top of it. So far so good in my 2-hour evaluation. If something changes I'll update the review. I definitely recommend this product!

Chip can easily get burnt out - broken after 3 days
This thing "burned out" on me after not even 3 days of use. Apparently, it couldn't handle the audio signal which overloaded the chip. And i wasn't even pushing the limits either. I would not recommend it. Get the Fosi Q4 DAC instead (a bit more money, but the Fosi can handle more powerful audio signals).

works but.......just
Using unit as a Bluetooth reciever for Yamaha 9.1 amp but the output level on the RCA plugs is pitifull basically at full volume on the unit it is 3 to 6db down (thats well less than half output power) on what it should be, this means amplifier has to be set nearly flatout to get acceptable volume. I would not recommend this unit
