The light is just as advertised, extremely bright white light, and highly sensitive detection. I put this near the middle of the rear of my house, and walking around to the back yard and barely being able to see the light fixture and it comes on when at max sensitivity. This is by far the most sensitive motion light I've ever had. It was going on from branch movement, and I'm still adjusting it to be slightly less sensitive. Brightness is past expectations. It would have been nice to have the small plastic hangar to help hold the light from the fixture as you're mounting it - though not including that is one less piece of single-use plastic in the world. The heat generated by this unit has me a little concerned - i may switch its on-time to be 1 minute rather than 5 so it doesn't heat up as much during the summer. Instructions specify to not mount anything above it for heat reasons... hoping that a dry leaf never finds its way there. In spite of that concern, it gets 5 stars all around. May buy another.After less than 2 years of use, one of the two lights stopped working. I contacted the manufacturer, and they immediately shipped out a replacement, honoring their 5-year warranty. I hope the new one will last this time. I do appreciate a company that stands by their product, but I would prefer that it just continue to work for years to come. Aren't LEDs supposed to last many times longer than incandescents?

I bought two of these a few months back to replace old incandescent ones on my house. They fit right into the old boxes though I did have to replace the center strap. Some thugs were creeping around my office last weekend, so I needed more. I put two of these on the front overlooking the parking I like that they are small and fairly inconspicuous and work great!

This replaced a old, barely working reflector floodlight, and man, it's a world of difference. The light is quite bright and throws pretty far and wide. I love this far more than reflectors.I've got two small nits: * The motion detection is finicky sometimes. This is probably more to do with my setup requiring me to point the detector in an odd position, lest a tree set it off every 3 minutes, but there are some times that I'd do jumping jacks in plain view of the sensor and it still wouldn't trip. These seem transient, though, and 95% of the time it triggers just fine * The relay that controls this light is quite audible. Mine is mounted just outside my bedroom, and I can definitely hear it clacking on and off at night through the (insulated) wall.Overall, though, I love this thing and would buy it again (especially for the price). The install was quick and easy, all the parts were provided, and the unit is quite light (while feeling sturdy).

The motion detector on this light is just amazing and far better than the others that Ive tried! It hasn't fail yet to pick up motion and turn on the light. The other light I have only sometimes picks up motion and turns on, which I plan on replacing with another one of these lights. Also I like how you can select up to 10mins once motion is picked up that the light will stay on for. Its nice and bright as well, lights 30'-40' of my walkway nicely. Another thing I like is it only comes on once the sun goes down, so it won't waste electricity by coming on when the sun is out, thanks to the photocell. Its held up so far perfectly for a little over a month mounted outdoors. I plan to buy a few more to add around my yard for nighttime exterior lights.

This motion detector light is different, in that it does not use bulbs. There are filaments that I understand last extremely long within each cover. Installation was easy. I did it myself and I'm not an electrician by any means. The product looks very neat and finished above our garage doors and provides PLENTY of light across our whole driveway. The movements of the lights seemed to be restricted somewhat, but I was able to get them positioned where they look nice and cover enough of the driveway that if someone walks up, they will get a tan from brightness. I'm not sure how long this will last, given "new technology" lighting (for me), but if it is shorter than I thought, the price of this product, makes it viable to simply by another one and install it in a few years.

I bought this to replace an older one that used flood lights. Over the years, I had changed from traditional bulbs to fluorescent to LED screw in flood lamps, but when my housing's circuitry stopped working, I got this to replace it. It's as bright or brighter than the old one with good bulbs, but cheaper to operate, and it should last a lot longer.The detector works as well as the old one, meaning that it's sensitive enough for my needs, but not oversensitive. It will go on for a large cat or anything bigger, but perhaps not for a small cat.The cost to operate is so low that I'm not too concerned even if it's on more than absolutely needed.

When I first installed this, in 2019, I was quite pleased with its performance. It continued working well until this spring, a little over two years later. Now it is dead (neither LED panel will illuminate, though the internal circuitry is still operational) and will have to be thrown away.Now I will go to a real store and buy a name-brand motion light so that I won't have to replace the next one in another two years.

Got this for my backyard as a backup for my already in place security sensor light. I t's super simple to set up and you don't really need to know much about installing these sort of lights to get this up in a few minutes. T he instructions included are clear for a novice user or installer to understand, so there's no reason to be intimidated.Once up, it works just as i want it to with easy to adjust detection settings and has not faltered for me yet. i'm sure this will last me for years and it's a great addition to my home.
