For students, it is both user friendly and comprehensive, and yet also in-depth enough to be a valuable resource for those already in practice.This text is unique in many ways. Most all texts will provide the knowledge, information on the disease as well it’s biological functions. However the user friendly layout, as well as the additional features are what makes this book unique. While it clearly provides excellent insight into the convergence of both pathology with physiology, the authors have mastered the ability to expertly weave a massive amount of pertinent information, applicable to both students ,and those in the field.The layout of the book is amazing, and the content vast . One of the more valuable factors of this book, especially for students, is in the learn, check,recheck feature. When you add that feature with all the other visuals (tables, graphics, check points) all with text that is very comprehensive -you’ve got the whole brain learning and understanding. Simply stated the layout is pleasing to look at, and the eye effortlessly follows the path while learning Pathophysiology. Where the eye goes the brain will follow. The well provided information, in addition to engaging realistic life case examples, clear concise photos, a self check list with answers,and explanations. This is every students dream.This book is a must have for anyone considering a career in the medical field. I wish I had this book as a student- I’m grateful I have it now.Very well organized, VERY thorough. Excellent! One of the most useful educational as well as reference books on the subject of Pathophysiology- Excellent and Highly Recommended.

Was cheaper than buying it at school bookstore. Came in good condition. If only there was a way to download all the information into my brain. (Facepalm)

I had no choice but to use this book as it was required by the class I was taking. There were so many typos both large and small that it made me distrustful of the information within the text. The online dynamic study modules, assigned per the class, also contained typos.

Used or thrown around in urine and bent up by a toddler? Should have specified that I was buying a torn apart book. Would have rather paid $300 for a new one.

Advertised hard cover. It was soft cover.
