GripStrips make your stairs safer in under a minute—no drilling needed! Just use a screwdriver to tighten fasteners in the pre-slotted holes, then loosen each screw a quarter turn to allow the wood to expand and contract with temperature changes.

How Do GripStrips Perform On Ice & Snow?

GripStrips will not melt ice or snow, but the cleats may help prevent slips and falls providing additional traction for the foot or shoe. Salting and shovelling will not damage or compromise the integrity of your strips.

Can GripStrips Be Installed On Concrete & Composite?

GripStrips can be installed on concrete, metal or composite. Pre-drilling is required for metal & composite, a 3/32" pilot hole. Concrete application requires a concrete anchor (not included). Screws included are recommended for all applications.

How Long Will Installed GripStrips Last?

For typical residential use, you can expect your GripStrips to last several years. There is a five year UV pack within the raw material to help avoid the fading and crumbling. Periodically, inspect your strips for wear and replace as needed.
