Really it's amazing sound qlty,bass is rich and powerful,finally usefull qlty philips.

ANNEXURE 6 Dec 2020 - One bud is gone today! Just 3.5 months!? Shame... 1. It seems a jenuine item and a good buy. Box wasn't sealed though, and not sure if that's how it should be. The item is new alright. 2. Sound is nothing special but it is fairly good. Perhaps the output level is a bit low. 3. MRP on box is 399. At 299 - I am happy. 4. Earbuds are of a good design - comfortable and easy to wear. But it's difficult to identify L n R sides. 5. Mic is good. 6. Cables are soft but sturdy. Sets of extra coushions are included alright. 7. I find NO mention of warranty info anywhere! This is confusing and concerning. 8. The box is very highly oversized. That's a lot of paper wasted. It's totally unnecessary. Philips should consider a box of one third size.

At first I got the used product without eartips and then I placed it for replacement, then I got the new one, it's sound quality is amazing, bass is also punchy, no muddiness in bass and no distortion in sound even at 100% volume, but I recommend you do not use any earphone, headphone above 60-65% volume, more volume can explode your eardrum if not then definitely you're gonna get tinnitus problem in which a person feels whistles in one of his or her ears, sometimes it's left and sometimes it's right one. Now coming back to this earphone, the build quality is ok, do not expect more because these are coming under rupees 300, it has basic build rubber wires and plastic jack and mic, wire isn't looking durable so you have to keep it with care, do not fold earphones wire to tight otherwise it's inside copper wire can break. But if you keep it safe then you're gonna enjoy this earphone because of its great sound and bass quality, it's mids, highs and lows all are balanced, so you're not gonna have too much bass or too much treble it's balanced. Writing the review after checking with many earphones that I had bought earlier. There is a slight design problem which creates a diaphragm noise whenever I tried to wear it. I believe the design can't adjust the air pressure inside that gets created while putting it into ear leading to slight movement of the diaphragm that caused the noise which could easily be solved by applying a very thin paper layer onto the diaphragm to minimize that movement that not only rid the PET noise but at the same time will help the speaker to maintain clear voice at high volume. Now talking about the sound quality... standard PET diaphragm sound, clear sound but as the volume reach higher the sound gets distorted due to uncontrolled movement of the PET diaphragm. Note: Decent for calling and for mild low audio time. Price to Performance : 3/5. As philips could do it better, with better silicone coated or paper coated-PET based diaphragm to improve the sound clarity as the 10 mm driver that philips provided are although decent but if you ever had used silicone-PET based earphone you will definitely find the missing as soon as you start playing. Noise Cancellation: Don't think so, passive one. 2/5. Sound quality: Um... clear but uncontrolled treble at high volume. 3/5 Bass Quality: Very uncontrolled... a control bass is always preferred from any in-ear audio devices. 1/5 ★★★☆☆ Three star overall due to price wise it is okay but but... could be better though perfect for everyday calling purposes. Didn't expect a sound quality like this from such a cheap product. Do not let the price fool you into thinking it to be actually cheap, there's ample bass and a little less focus on the vocals and high ends but theres a good amount of surround in it. As for durability, it's very much durable. I've already used it for 3 years with very very rough use and not a single issue except the mic stopped working at the end so ordering a new one

Writing this review after over a month long usage 1. I have been a user of these earphones by Philips since many years. However, this time Philips has highly disappointed me. 2. The overall quality of the earphones has dropped. Despite of having the suitable jack in the phone, the plugged in pin creates disturbances on being touched. Rotating the pin may help at some point but not much. 3. Noise Cancellation is ZERO - there is NO NOISE CANCELLATION. The mic quality is so bad that the opposite person on the call can hear amplified amount of disturbances but does not hear your voice despite of being loud and very near to the mic. 4. Wire quality is as bad - every single movement causes disturbances. Overall quality of these earphones have dropped drastically. Do not buy these even if you have been a long time user in the past of these - there is a high level of degraded performance now. Philips has FAILED to maintain quality and standard.

Unlike most Indians I'm not a fan of heavy bass. I've tried heavy bass headphones before, and truth be told, I didn't like them at all. They totally ruined my listening experience. I'm mostly into electronic music genres like synthwave, ambient, trance etc. which are known for having multiple layers of melodies. And while listening to these genres I've noticed that too much bass on a headphone can muffle some of the other important melodies that are part of the same track, and when that happens you don't get to hear or enjoy those other melodies properly. This is the reason why i like headphones with an equal proportion of bass and treble, which lets you hear and enjoy all the melodies in a track with crystal clear sound. When i purchased this Phillips earphone i was expecting some heavy bass (which I totally hate) but today when I used them for the first time I was quite impressed, for the bass and treble in it are well balanced, which in my opinion, is perfect for enjoying electronic music. I hope this earphone lasts atleast six months. But if it stops working before that, I'll have to edit this review. For now i'm gonna give this product 4 stars :)

Very good value for money product from Philips Delivery : On-time and good packaging. Product: The looks are premium for the price. The sound quality is good (can't expect great quality for this price), meets expectation. It is good for taking calls on phone and PC. The stereo quality is good. All the remote functions work well and as expected. I didn't experience any extra-bass effects. I may review again after burn-in. Philips claim 6 months warranty. Made in China Bought it for Rs. 349
