Diono Rainier 2AXT All-in-One Convertible Car Seat, Grey Dark

This is an amazing quality product but the design is absolutely absurd. These claim to rear face to 50lbs but they do not adjust, you have to get a foam block to fit under the seat and they are out of stock everywhere. Without it, rear facing is a joke and completely unrealistic... We have a 2018 Odyssey and we literally have to put the seat almost all the way up because we can't get the foam piece.These seats are made to forward face, if you want to rear face as long as possible you're better off not getting diono unless you're petite and 4'5''No average human can fit with these.. I feel terribly sorry for small cars and people who buy these thinking they are ideal for smaller cars.

The Diono is loaded with great safety features and as a convertible we expected to get many miles out of this one. We use this Diono as a backup and as our travel car seat because it folds. When flying it fits easily into a large checked suitcase (bag comes in just shy of the max 50lb limit, its heavy but it rolls) Means no lugging a seat through the airport and it also makes an uber from the airport possible. Overall great seat and for us the pros outweigh the 1 con (pun intended)
