Free Country Men's 3-in-1 Systems Jacket with Puffer Interior and Removable Hood

great jacket. quality manufacturing and great in cold weather. a great deal for the price. As a geologist and avid hiker I spend a lot of time outdoors and this coat always serves as my first choice. With the lining and outer waterproof coat its easily good in snow or below freezing weather, especially with some thermals and a shirt or sweater. Fits a bit big because its just a big coat in general, but thats good when you have layers on and its very cold or windy. I wear this coat in the Sierra and out in the Mojave desert, Colorado Plateau, and its always warm and comfortable with a great deal of convenient pocket space for my gear, handheld instruments, and personal items.

Got it as a deal, and the jacket was worth the price. You could see that it was well-layered and would be quite warm on a brisk day. But a size M was just too big for me, and so I had to return it.

First one had some strings in the seams, loose fabric, poor seams. Customer service sent me a replacement and i could not be happier.completely waterproof, very warm when matched with the inner liner.They fit a touch baggy which is great for layering, but not an athletic fit.

All other winter brands except Carhartt (which is work wear) are over rated.This is my second piece of Free Country jacket and They did me well in Detroit 2013 winter season which was an aggressive season,and in 2014 in New York they were even greater.Well done Free Country.

This coat kept me warm in Green Bay in January with temps around zero. Medium is usually a bit small for me, so I ordered a medium and a large to make sure I had room for layers. I fit in the medium with a thermal, a t shirt, and a hoodie.

Great jacket, warm, fits well, love the color (green) and the fact that it has removable liners. Did seem to run a bit large, hubby usually wears an XL but after reading some reviews I went with a L and it fits him perfectly.

Absolutely love this jacket system. Only complaint is that the arms of the outer jacket without the liner feel somewhat sticky due to the type of material used perhaps. Hard to beat it for the price.

Its quite loosely fitted but the material seems nice can't say much unless used it for a while.
