Evans Drum Heads - G2 Clear Tom Drumhead, 12 Inch

Replaced the stock Remo UK heads on my Ludwig CS Custom Elite Birch with a set of these (10-12-14) and wow, what a difference. The stock heads weren't horrible, but the punch these G2 clears have is incredible. They don't kill the tone like Pinstripes, but still give me a nice controlled sound. They tune easily and seem to have a wide usable range. I play a wide range of styles and these heads can handle them all. I've heard good things about the durability of these, but since I've only had them a few weeks I can't comment on that. As long as they last a while, I'll be very happy.

I'm not often mic'd when I play live. These play quite a bit louder than my old coated heads. The also have great tone and durability. Highly recommend for drummers that what they're toms louder without too much overtone. Wouldn't suit jazz or softer styles as well.

We needed to buy a new one for our drums and by far it has been good no issues and at a good price as well.

I bought a kit the other day and it came with these heads on it. I had never used the Level 360s before (always been a Evans Coated) guy. Well damn....these things blow all the others heads out the water! I loved the heads so much that I bought them for my second kit as well. I even had some life left on my old heads, but I loved the sound and feel of these too much to wait! Excellent response and attack! It may be my imagination, but these seemed to tune very quickly unlike some of the other heads I have used in the past. Buy these. You can't beat the price and they make your kit sound fab.

I just reskinned my Yamaha drums with these Evans G2's. What a big difference. The tone is focused, powerful, with no nasty overtones. I don't even use my damper rings on these. They just sound great and I can't stop playing them. (I'm typing this one handed as I pound out a beat." ;-)

not sure why the 2 ply heads are so popular. anybody that likes a bit of stick bounce and articulation will not want these things. if you want a 14 mil head go with the G12 or G14 which I have done. you get the best of both worlds .. less attack .. less sustain with nice voice and easy tuning. forget the dull thud of the G2 .. you can do so much better than that.

Van dos veces que pido este parche para toms 12" EVANS G2 y sale con ese pequeño orificio como de 2ml. en la parte inferior del lado derecho del parche , me preguntó si así es el diseño o está defectuoso el producto ??
