I laughed, I cried.....:-)
Claire Elizabeth Jones (aged 7) is spunky and outspoken. She and her best friend and "Oreo Girl," Miss Dorothy, who also happens to be her maid, share an unbreakable bond that sees them through some horrific situations in a small town where racism and bigotry are alive and well. Very well written. A quick easy read. I highly recommend it.
