Definitely Exceeded my Expectations
The studiness of the packaging was a bit lacking; however, the product itself arrived undamaged. These cakes are delicious and moist. I was worried about them having sat in my mailbox all day in the heat, but no noticeable issues. I look forward to having these with my afternoon tea and will be ordering more for sure.

This is the best thing ever to enter my mouth
This little cake thing was probably the best thing that has ever gone in my mouth. And a lot of things have gone in my mouth. But not like this. If the sponge on the Inside was any more moist, it would be liquid. If I could, I would unwrap the almond marzipan from the sponge and attach it to my face so I could absorb it better. And if all that wasnât good enough, thereâs a whisp of sugar that is rationed so perfectly that pissed me off. Why would you only put 5 in a package. Iâm American, thatâs half of what it should be. Now I have to order double.

Expensive but good
Pretty fast shipping and came in very good condition. Great taste but I would only get them if you know you already love Battenburg and are looking for the nostalgia of having them at tea time. Otherwise, the pricing is a little rich for the quantity.

Great tasting.
I love amaretto/almond taste and Battenburg cakes have a great taste filled with it. They have Marzipan, too. I'm always pleased with the quality and moistness. I put them in the fridge and love to eat them cold.

Arrived damaged completely squashed
Why did you pick this product vs others?: great flavor delicious! Package arrived squashed and cakes were damaged! The packaging was really bad ! Expensive for what you get! Despite the squashed product they were for me and I loved them ! Cake quality: Delicious but completely damaged packaging was really bad no protection for the cakes

NEVER RECEIVED!
I ordered these on Jan 6th to receive them for my husbands bday in Feb. Itâs now March 10th and I still have not received them and it still says âshippedâ. Did seller actually ship them? I donât know. Weâre they lost coming from the UK? I donât know. Did a worker eat them? Maybe. Seller never got in touch with me so I contacted Amazon who did refund my money. But I want the cakes!! They are so sweet and yummy and we canât get them here in the US. Very disappointed in the whole ordeal.
