I've tried a lot of different products and this one is the only one so far that mostly glues my hair down pretty good. I have kinda mad cowlicks, and this stuff helps keep it under control. Not just for guys, honestly... smells nice, and I like the jar it came in. But once it's in your hair, forget combing. A little water helps reactivate it in the afternoon so it lasts all day. Good stuff.

After going back to a flattop hair style I was on the lookout for a pomade to help keep it and looking new. After trying several different pomades, which most pomades actually seem to be more hair gel, I thought I'd try one more and boy am I glad I did. This stuff is great. Great hold all day, washes out pretty well and has just a faint fragrance which seems to go away shortly. I will absolutely be purchasing this again and again. Low sheen, great hold and cheaper than some of the other pomades/hair waxes I purchased before this.

This is my favorite hair wax. Second favorite all time hair product for styling. Works better when my hair is short, but will do for longer hair.

Yes, they are not joking around.. it does hold very strong. What I didn't like was that once it sets you can't readjust or brush your hair. It turned out to be a bit too strong. It almost feels like hair gel which is not what I was going for. The product seems to be of great quality and I am sure a lot of guys will enjoy it... it just wasn't for me.

I really liked this product. I know it's not perfect but for now it's the best matte wax I've found and it's very easy to strip it out with water .

Went short (pixie) and have been looking for a wax that holds my thick, heavy hair. This works great and, most importantly, DOESN'T have a terrible or strong smell.

Product definitely dries hard/crispy. Product does not wash out easily and leaves uncomfortable texture.

I recently tried out this Hair Styling Wax and I have to say, I'm really impressed with the results. Here's my 4-star product review:First of all, I love the texture of this wax. It's smooth and easy to apply, but also has a bit of grip to help hold my hair in place. I have thick, slightly wavy hair and I found that this wax helped tame my hair and keep it looking neat throughout the day. I recommend using it with damp hair after a shower and a light towel dry. Take a pea-sized amount with your finger, place it in the palm of your hand, and emulsify (fancy word for vigorously rubbing your hands together to breakdown the product and activate it with heat from friction). Once you’ve done this, you can rub it into your hair and style with a blowdryer for best results (a blowdryer isn’t necessary, but it helps speed up the process).The hold is also really impressive for most of the day. I've tried a lot of different hair styling products in the past and I have to say, this wax has one of the strongest holds I've experienced. However, I did find that as my hair got longer, the hold wasn't as good by the end of the day, which is the reason for my 4-star rating instead of 5.But, on the other hand, I really appreciate the volumizing effect of this product. It gives my hair a boost and adds some great texture that makes it look thicker and fuller.One thing I appreciate about this product is that it doesn't leave my hair feeling sticky or crunchy. It gives my hair a natural-looking finish that's easy to restyle throughout the day if needed.The scent of this wax is also really nice. It's not overpowering, but it has a subtle, fresh scent that I enjoy.Overall, I'm really happy with the Dao Hair Styling Wax.
