I am so happy with this product that I was compelled to write my first Amazon review. This is hands down the best shelf liner available. We purchased this product after a lot of research (i.e. analysis paralysis) and disappointment with many other products we have purchased over the years that ripped or stained easily and did not look good. Duralux liners look expensive and modern. Both sides (felt and leather ) stabilize glassware -- no more rattling when we pull the shelves open or shut them close. We are also very impressed with the thickness of this product. We are using this to line a drawer that houses our very heavy pots and pans, and are confident the shelf surface will be protected. We are so pleased we ordered more rolls to line our pantry and bar cabinets.

This looks to be an excellent product (the 6" x 9" set of a few sheets, stapled together at one end with a card cover, exactly what I was looking for to line a metal pencil/pen tray, and for a few sheets the $2.99 price is fine, BUT THE SHIPPING is a royal ripoff, $10.18 to ship something which would fit in a regular business envelope with postage of, what, $.60? So charge $4 (3+1 S&H), something fair, but ten bucks. No thanks, I'll live with the unlined tray.

Used this for my bar shelves that I built. This stuff is perfect! Very easy to cut, a little heat will make it relax out of its rolled form, and it looks great. I use the felt side for my bar glasses. Might order more for the other side to use in my garage for my tools. Heavy duty stuff, great quality.

I bought this for my tool cabinet drawers. It is a substantial product that doesn't shift or wrinkle when I slide stuff in and out. It cushions my tools and protects the surfaces. I use the smooth side since it cleans up and reinstalls so easily! I have used the soft side for small parts assembly. I gave it four stars because of the price. But after using it, I feel it was worth it.

This stuff is wonderful. It lays flat quite quickly after you open the roll, it is VERY easy to cut with a utility blade, and it is substantial. I'm using the smooth side up, lining two pots and pans drawers, and lining a bathroom vanity cupboard. I'm sure I will want more for other locations, now that I have worked with it.

This is a great product! I was looking for a liner that would lie very flat so that my stemware would be stable, but also be soft to protect the rims. The gripping liners were too "squishy" and lightweight. I use the felt side for delicate items (like my stemware) and the flip side in the laundry room on my wire rack. It looks good and performs well and was a cinch to customize with a straight-edge and razor blade. Being able to get a sample first is a big plus!

UPDATE May 2024: Still looks amazing and has held up beautifully over the years! ORIGINAL REVIEW: I used this to line the inside of a bar - felt side up. It required some strength to cut, but worked perfectly and seems like it will last a lifetime. Great Liner

Nice and thick, lays flat with no need for adhesive. This material comes from Sargent Cycle, a Florida based motorcycle seat maker. This stuff is probably the same material used to make the seats, it is tough and thick enough that it quiets the placement of objects in the drawer. I used it felt side down for my kitchen drawers but would use felt side up as they recommend for more delicate items like wine glasses.
